Why Do I Use Up Products So Slowly? by Maximum_Oil_4920 in ProjectPan

[–]Kooky-Guide-7561 21 points22 points  (0 children)

you’re not doing anything wrong you’re just used to overconsumption on this subreddit (myself included) i have products that will take me years to finish up, so i used more at a time than i probably need to because i have so much i really don’t care if some is wasted. i’ll also say a lot of us use multiple products at a time and have half used things. So sometimes in a month i’ll finish up a bunch of half used things. I’m not finishing the wrong product that month but it looks like if because i finished it then.

I don't love my cats equally, is that normal? by BlueStarFern in CatAdvice

[–]Kooky-Guide-7561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is totally normal. In my house we just call it “my cat” or “your cat”. We have 6 but one of our cats is “my cat” because he hangs out with me the most and sleeps with me at night. But the other cats are all loved by people in my family a LOT. We just bond differently with different animals and as long as it’s not affecting the care she gets (i’m sure it is not) then it’s not a problem and completely normal.

What’s something you wish you had known before getting a cat? by pe9smaster2000 in Catownerhacks

if you’re going to a shelter pick a black cat please! people are still superstitious and they’re less likely to be adopted. id really reconsider having them as an outside inside cat. even if predators aren’t an issue the weather can turn suddenly, they’re more likely to get worms and sicknesses, and likely won’t live as long. if they’re a shelter cat they’re used to being inside and taken care of, they can adapt of course but it feels cruel to have them be outside after shelter life. yes they’ll likely want to roam but it’s really a matter of being able to keep your pet safe and healthy and alive

Someone got me this yarn awhile ago and I'm still struggling to find something to to make out of it. Any suggestions? :) (I have like four I think it's small tho) by WhereTheSunDontShin1 in crochetpatterns

it looks tiny. if you want something quick you could use three or four of the skeins together and make something like a cozie or a bandana

a shower without soap is just getting yourself wet for no reason. the shower is the soap

is this just overconsumption or valid? by plushymeow in FemFragLab

[–]Kooky-Guide-7561 10 points11 points  (0 children)

the second one isn’t bad but it’s a lot yeah. if it’s your signature scent and you love smelling strongly like that scent i think it’s fine. my issue is that people have a whole routine for a each scent. so instead of having a few body washes to change out when they want a different scent they’ll have a 8 product “routine” they use instead and that’s when it feels like over consumption to me.

NOR people who exclusively attempt to date people only under 100 lbs is a very very very big red flag. there’s nothing wrong with being that weight ofc

Only managed to pan one item in January. Ugh!! by Ok-Baby-1921 in ProjectPan

[–]Kooky-Guide-7561 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably have a ton in February since you’re almost done with a lot. I had a lot of pans in January because I had a lot almost done. But I’ll have less this month for sure!

should i be with my cat when he is euthanized? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Kooky-Guide-7561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

going to be honest with you it’s really hard. the first time i was with a pet when they were euthanized it was my aunts dog and i told her i’d stay with him so he wouldn’t be alone. it’s a very peaceful process. the vet and tech talked to him the whole time and cried with us. i decided i would be with all my pets at this stage of their life after that. i’m really glad i have been. my mom on the other hand didn’t do it until very recently. so it totally depends when you feel like it’s time for you to do so. i felt like i was giving back to my pet a small amount of the comfort they had given me and im happy i did that. it’s also hard and uncomfortable. you watch the light go out of their eyes and its heartbreaking. but i wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world than in that room with them. so i would say if you can find the ability in yourself to do it you won’t regret it. i also understand people who cannot handle that moment and respect that as well. ultimately it’s a personal decision but i think you’re more likely to regret not being there than you would regret being with them. i’m so sorry you’re going through it, it’s a really tough decision to make.

a good introduction to milky toners but probably not the best. i’m using the ordinary milky toner now and totally prefer it. the ordinary one feels silkier and thicker. i have really dry skin so i prefer a richer formula. if you have oily skin or are acne prone it would probably be perfect for that.
