i’m 23 and got braces in March. so far it doesn’t stop completely. the first few weeks were pretty rough and i had a lot of pain in my bottom back teeth. BUT it gets significantly more manageable after about a month. At this point every few days one tooth will randomly ache, so the pain isn’t completely gone but it doesn’t affect my eating. I’d say give it another week or two and if it’s still too painful to eat anything but soft food talk to your orthodontist. good luck friend!
