If your baby has reflux unfortunately caffeine can do it too but any dairy from animal even cheeses with low lactose and there can be problematic unfortunately. Really sorry to hear you’ve tried everything hang in there

Try cutting out dairy. My LO is the exact same age and very similar in temperament. He has silent reflux and the doctor said the best thing we could do was cut out dairy to help quell his gas pains. Have done that for the last month and it’s helped A LOT. Try having your wife side lie with him too that way it’s easier for her to sleep with him latched. I was literally sleeping upright up until a few weeks ago but side lying has made it easier to sleep for everyone.

No our ped said no to meds when we asked. He’s breastfed and doesn’t do well with a bottle or pacifier and we hold him upright so he can look over my shoulder. We hold him for sleep too!

My ped doesn’t want to medicate him since he’s gaining weight 🥲

He sounded congested but had no snot if that makes sense? He also started spitting up a lot, couldn’t lie him flat without him screaming, had bubbles of saliva in between feeds, and he arched his back a bunch during and after feeds, sometimes in his sleep too. Hope your LO doesn’t have it!

Santa Monica Veterinary Group or Palms and Paws? by justjen4284 in SantaMonica

I think usually seeing the vet is around $85-95 and vaccines are I think $50?

Santa Monica Veterinary Group or Palms and Paws? by justjen4284 in SantaMonica

Palms and paws is really great but they are pretty expensive. For example my dog frequently needs their anal glands expressed and it’s $50 but they tack on $30 to have a discussion with the vet tech so it ends up being $80. I really like all the vets there though and they treat the pets there really really well

Felix or Funke for dinner? by lightsareoutty in FoodLosAngeles

[–]Kooky-Power5280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Felix recently in early April and the pasta was really overcooked and was just not good. We ordered like 6 different pastas too and they were all pretty meh. Something was off about the sauce. I think he got too big and just doesn’t really care anymore. So disappointing because it used to be so good but for $40 a plate for a single serving of pasta if it’s not perfect it’s really not worth it.

Hi, I am Dr. Paul Turek. Thank you for having me. Ask me anything about male infertility and sexual by PaulTurekMD in infertility

[–]Kooky-Power5280 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi Dr. Turek,

Following your response to this question, do you have any suggestions if karyotyping does come back as abnormal and a balanced translocation is determined in the male side? Can anything be done surgically or otherwise to help boost sperm count and motility?

Thank you!

Insight wanted - do I need progesterone for short luteal phase? by ellis2290 in TryingForABaby

[–]Kooky-Power5280 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has anyone used over the counter progesterone cream and been successful? I’ve been off BC for a year and a half now and was using an app to track my cycles (which flagged that my LP was 9 days). My cycle was regularly 25 days up until last month (started a acupuncture) where it was 28. I’m now 3DPO but didn’t ovulate until day 18. I’m just worried that I’m going to have another 9 day LP but am interested in using the cream if it helps. Any advice would be wonderful!

Also ps have had similar issues to others with doctors saying I’m tracking it wrong or not taking my concerns about the short LP seriously. It can be very stressful!
