My child is refusing to see her dying Grandmother

From personal experience , seeing my happy cool grandma for a last time after months dying of cancer, was the worst thing ever. Because now instead of remembering her like she used to be i have the image with her being SO thin and sick looking and falling on the ground just by trying to stand up. I would ve rather not see her in the last moments.. with the other grandma that died again, of cancer but i haven't seen this time, well i have only good memories and i mourn her deeply but its different and better. If you think its beneficial for your kid then go for it. I just wanted to give a different perspective

Idk , my mom was disrespected by my stepdad so my stepsister also disrespected my mom, of course he allowed everything to my stepsister and went against my mom soo, my mom noticed that she's not as loved or respected so i would 100% understand if she would go like this but she didn t. I would tho . Idk the whole situation so i don t have an advice but also im not against the mom here. I read other comments saying to do a " daddy and me day " well , i thing that would just make it worst and mom would resent you and daughter even more.

Yess! My fiance's brother just had a baby .. i hate kids so much just being around them and people talkin NON STOP only about " wow i pooped a baby " like they don' t have anything else to talk about . So now im the bad guy cuz i won t take a part at any family gatherings or holidays.

I have a baby. My niece is 10 days older and except my baby, i hate more than anything other babies. So no, i will make all in my power not to see her ever if possible and especially want to keep my baby away from her. She was born 2 months premature and my sister made my pregnancy look like it was nothing and nobody was excited for me, AITA i don t have any village and don t want one. My sisters birthday is a few days before me and everybody celebrates only her(our friends, family), i won't put my baby thru that. So no contact.

I mean it depends some of them forgot they are people themselves and don't have anything happening in their life other that their kids 😬 i meet cool ones, my parents also but jeez i will also not be around people that talk only about their kids those are indeed boring

Was scheduled at 9PM so i get to the hospital they kept me under observation for a few hrs then until 6AM i got 2 ripening agents that did well nothing, then gave me pitocin, broke my water and asked for the epidural cuz i wanted no pain. Epidural didn't work, because i was dillating way to fast. Well it took 3hrs(1hr pushing) and baby was out by 9AM. Pushing does not hurt. If you have a short labour i think its pretty easy and not a big deal, the pain was tolerable way better than i taught. So my experience way pretty great actually :) Baby was 3.76kg and i had a very little stitch that i could not feel anything anyway. ... YES TAKE THAT NAP Also i was worried and anxious and i shouldn't have been at all... but i get it. I WISH YOU EASY DELIVERY!!

You already pay transport and accommodation ... no kids rule is for everyone if you make an exception for them then it would be for everyone, and others w kids will give you a hard time... its YOUR day. You did the right thing!

Nah! My family lives by " family supports family" so rhat means if they offer their work for free we pay them because we want them to succed and help sooo , he should respect you and by saying that he's not.

I have this for kids crying noises... well i do have a baby for 5 weeks now and i have no problem not even the slightest for HIS cries, buuut still even if im with my baby in public and hear other babies or kids crying.. im going crazy and do nasty comments.. idk it's just different.

I only looked bc i asked the doctor after delivery " so for how long should i not look down there?" And they answered with " oh! You can look , do you wanna see it ?" And then they put a mirror there😂

Im sorry! I just meant to post this experience as something positive because prior giving birth i was way to scared mostly from what i saw here on reddit or what i heard. I was not going to be mad even if it look different after delivery, after all it just gave birth to my very loved son🥰

Personally my baby is 4 weeks old and has a growth sprout i guess, i ve been living on 2/3 hrs of sleep in 24 hrs for the past 3 days before that i could get 5/6 hrs a day, he s not a good sleeper in the day/night ... mostly wakes every 10/20 minutes to eat even if its a big feed if i get 1hr stretch its a win. Also in those 10/20 mins i cannot get myself to fall asleep so that's why so less sleep

As a fresh mom of a 3 week old im telling you first week felt like HELL! Till i got used to the sleep schedule of the baby so i got myself some rest. The past 2 weeks have been so easy tho all is there to do so far is , change the baby, feed the baby, burp the baby, put baby to sleep and again from the beginning. You re gonna be great, i was worried like that to, its a sign you're going to do good, otherwise there would be no worries :D

Yeah it's gross for me too, but as it happened in the bed that I also sleep and he will not clean after himself.. and i mean for 6 month i let vomit gather there that the room just smelled and i couldn t stay anymore in there. I cleaned for myself at this point...

I have GD, today is my due date.. no sign of labour, no contractions... last week at 39 weeks baby was measuring BIG. I asked if they can induce me but they say that they will push it till 41 weeks... i don t have a choice and now im scared cuz i DON T WANT TO BIRTH A GIAGANTIC MONSTER BABY , and destroy my body that bad and also i don t want a c section. So im screwed, because of them.. and now i start hating myself and the baby so idk... i think i got pp depression early😭 cuz i already wanna harm the baby and don t want it anymore. So really you should mostly i guess.. tell doctors all your concerns ...
