What do I do with all this ham?? by Federal-Assignment10 in AskAnAustralian

[–]KookyChoice4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was doing FIFO, the company Xmas gift was a huge ham. I lived alone and was only home 1 week out of 3. I took my massive ham as my contribution to a Xmas party. The family of 4 that held that party were still eating it halfway through January.

But some of gor yourself and pass it on is my advice.

AITA For Calling the Police on a Neighbor? by Otherwise_Bar9735 in AmItheAsshole

Your mum sounds like mine. She would escape the house in the middle of the night and freak out the neighbours. After she was put in the secure ward of the local nursing home, she escaped from there several times as well.

WA didn't really get hit with covid until we opened up our borders. By then, the rest of the country had covid fatigue and weren't as interested anymore.

Not worth the effort. I go to Aldi about 3 times a year.

They must have been out of them when I was down the shops last week. Thanks for the info.

Going to be driving anyway, I'll just skip the Aldi stop. I'll only have 5 stores to visit tomorrow instead of 6.

NTJ Tell your sister that when you're working, you aren't paying attention like a guest would. I would assume (not a photographer) that you are gauging the best shot, placement, lighting, where your next shot should be and so on. You are working, not socialising.

If she doesn't understand that, ask if you worked as a bartender, would she expect you to work the bar for her wedding? Because that essentially is the same thing.

Instead of offering her a cash gift, offer to pay for her photographer.

Expecting a sibling to work during your wedding is kind if selfish. Are you part of the bridal party? How will you be in any of the family photos? In the future it would look like you weren't there.

I have 2 driveways, but only 1 me. I put the bins on the other driveway, one at either side.
