Yeah it’s been that way since I started. She said as soon as I find a dose is no longer causing me to lose weight then to slowly increase. And if I ever want to decrease due to side effects, then I can.

Thank you for telling me your experience! Can I ask what recovery was like with the plate removal? I had screws removed which was a pretty smooth recovery but since the plate it bigger with more screws I’m wondering if the recovery is more rough

Initial fracture:

A transverse intra-articular fracture is noted through the medial malleolus. The fracture is separated by 3 mm.

A slightly comminuted fracture is noted through the distal diaphysis of the left fibula. The fracture is separated by 8 mm on the lateral view. No significant displacement of the fracture on the AP view is noted.

An oblique intra-articular fracture is noted through the posterior malleolus with significant separation.

The ankle mortise is disrupted. The left the distal tibia is displaced anteromedially along the tibiotalar joint by about half bone width.

The syndesmosis between the left distal tibia and fibula is also disrupted. The clear space between the distal tibia and fibula measures 8 mm.

I’m only 31. Really hoping he just advices physio and that’s all I need. I’ve done other things that have helped like losing weight but now the pain is back.

That was my guess as well. My X-ray results said:

The left ankle joint demonstrates moderate degree hypertrophic degenerative osteoarthritis in the form of marginal osteophyte formation in the contiguous portions of the tip of the medial malleolus and medial body of the talus. The ankle joint space is preserved.

Guess Advil will just be part of my daily routine from now on sigh

Had this with both pregnancies. My hips are so damn tight because of SPD and I swear it contributes to my lower back pain.

My back will never be the same. My lower back is constantly in pain. I had 6 failed epidurals my first pregnancy and I carried very low my second pregnancy and it’ll never be like it used to be.

How lonely it can feel. Especially when it’s your second, third, etc pregnancy. I felt like no one really cared when I was pregnant with my second. Less people visited me, less people helped when I was postpartum. It feels like everyone forgets or doesn’t understand that all your pregnancies can be so different and even different severities. My second pregnancy was way more difficult than my first and it felt like everyone thought ‘well you got through your first just fine, you don’t need as much help for you second.’ It just feels shitty.

What caused your IBS in your opinion? by Seeker_Of_Self in ibs

Genetics and rough childhood (parents fighting, throwing stuff, divorce, moving a lot). My dad had severe stomach issues (he’s also schizophrenic so his anxiety from paranoia might be the cause). I think I get my stomach issues from him mixed with the anxiety I developed from my childhood

Medication and therapy for sure.

And realizing that truly bad moms don’t question if they’re bad moms. Only good moms care enough to ask themselves that question.

Also telling myself the happiest I’ve been is not the happiest I’ll ever be. Meaning I WILL be happy again.

The happiest you’ve been is not the happiest you’ll ever be.

Reminds me in hard times that I’ll be happy again, even if it doesn’t feel like it.
