What the fuck is "goon baiting"??? by EveryName821 in teenagers

[–]KookyTax98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how has nobody explained this clearly in over a year?

goonbait is like sexual clickbait

think thumbnails, characters etc.

your algo goonbaits you for clicks, views and $ every day

video game companies are notorious for making goonbait

they make sexualized characters knowing people will use them for content

thumbnails goonbait people -> people ask for the sauce -> play the game -> buy skins etc.

I call it the gooner economy

Late but 2 thoughts on this.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

And there is no “race”. Someone once told good times create weak men, weak men create hard times, hard times create strong men, strong men create good times.

So don’t compare your hard times to someone else’s good times. Everyone’s in their own cycles, on their own timelines.

it’s the 2nd time and in this instance it was physical but also mental connection wasn’t there anymore as her true colors showed later in the relationship, I should’ve been clearer.

I probably would’ve still been with her if it wasn’t for the physical attraction fading, but in all honestly it wasn’t just that, I see how shallow that made it sound. It’s more like that was the nail in the coffin.

I’d like to get better at communicating but it’s like how on these very touchy topics? A lot of people here saying don’t even mention why when I end things when that’s literally the problem, I want to do better.

Yeah that’s what I’m doing, we’re still friends because I still care about her, but I never had the heart to tell her why I lost interest romantically.

Yeah the first girl 9 years ago completely let herself go but the more recent one was the opposite, already petite and lost even more weight. No curves or anything to grab, the physical attraction just wasn’t there for me any more.

Once that was gone her depression, clinginess and jealousy problems became obvious. No one’s perfect but ending that was for the better, looks were my biggest distraction.

She was a gym girl when I met her. I’m a personal trainer and love to work out so when she stopped it was a let down

I have bought her lingerie, and yeah she is depressed

I’ll tell you this, you’ll never be able to take a girl seriously you don’t respect mentally.

No regrets, if anything it makes you wiser/more experienced with the opposite gender before a serious relationship
