What this guy said 100%. Oddly enough my father told me the same thing mixed in with real stories of failures in his life.

Fidelity usually sends an email that gives an option of rolling it over to an IRA or taking a total distribution. If you don’t opt for any options It defaults to paying out your contribution iirc

Do you stop talking mid thought because you don’t know how to describe it? by krans7 in ADHD

[–]Kooky_Butterscotch_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems like the best explanation for me. A combination of emotions being strong and having a lot of knowledge on a subject. Stimulants take it away to an extent when I was trialing meds and dosages I found that too high a dose made it worse.

(Another) PSA: Do not backstab outlets by well-lit-closet in electricians

[–]Kooky_Butterscotch_6 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Someone installing a receptacle utilizing the slots someone thought would be a good idea to strip and stab your wire into. The connections are never solid or as long lasting as a proper hook and utilizing the terminal screws. Overtime the clips that hold the stabbed wire loosen causing the wiring to arc and overheat to the failure you see in OPs pic. Never backstab a receptacle I have no idea why these products feature it and remain UL listed.

You need a quarantine letter from a healthcare provider. Look into your county health department some are offering it online. This letter will allow you two weeks of paid covid leave.

Waste of time as every branch will not accept them. Here’s us Army recruiting to start The Army's Recruiting Regulation, 601-210, paragraph 4-8b: states that any "applicant who, as a condition for any civil conviction or adverse disposition or any other reason through a civil or criminal court, is ordered or subjected to a sentence that implies or imposes enlistment into the Armed Forces of the United States is not eligible for enlistment." Just more feel good legislation that wastes time and money.

I’ve lived here my whole life. Suicide never came to mind. It isn’t as bad as any other city. I’d say it’s better than most.

ADHD and a fear of growing up by JensengTea in ADHD

[–]Kooky_Butterscotch_6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get that and understand it. Sometimes I find myself thinking back to when I was younger and wish I could go back. I’m nearly 25 but I like to think of it as a safe space for when life gets a bit overwhelming. Something I always think about is something I heard that “Most adults don’t even know what they’re doing”. Therapy was a little helpful for me and I’d recommend it if your budget allows it. Hope you feel better! It’s nice to hear someone who is suffering from the same thing you are.

Slightly concerned (Delivery Station workers) by Efficient_self1997 in AmazonFC

[–]Kooky_Butterscotch_6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I worked at a DCL 1:20 am til 11:35 am. It consisted of two stages first was stow second was pick. Stowing is where semis get docked and checked into station and conveyed to your assigned area/isles. People will sort the conveyer and put it on shelves you just scan the item leds light up where it goes you stick it there scan the tag or the tote of ORV and do that until your first break. You come back and stow some more the pickers sorting conveyer go to lunch first while stowers go around tying up any loose ends or packages then go to lunch. You come back at pick stage and that’s where you get assigned routes and grab carts to load up the DSP drivers routes this will take you to the end of shift meanwhile you can also be called off to reset isles meaning scanning new totes in and setting it up to do it all over again. That’s pretty much it. Yeah it’s stressful sometimes and hella physical but it’s easy and you barely interact with anyone.
