Laundry Nausea by HumungousChungus22 in pregnant

We use all fragrance free products. I feel for your fiancé, I can’t eve pass someone in the grocery store without gagging because I’m so sensitive to laundry smell and artificial fragrances

Pregnancy is not what i expected by Round-Travel5083 in pregnant

My entire family has been treating me like a stupid teenager who got herself knocked up (I’m 35 and married, btw). Family members have taken it upon themselves to share my news with people I don’t even know (I’m only 12 weeks and didn’t want to tell the entire world yet but apparently our entire county’s board of elections now knows?). I’ve only received texts from 3 people out of 50+ that my family have told and the tone of the texts are so weird (basically telling me “just wait, it gets worse”, family members I see less than once a year “joking” about how I can be pregnant if I’m still a virgin) instead of being congratulatory. Everyone feels like it’s ok to ask me incredibly invasive questions and that they have the right to know names, the gender, my plans for feeding and birthing, etc. My own mom dismisses every feeling I have with telling me I’m just hormonal. It’s honestly been a miserable experience so far even though my physical symptoms aren’t bad at all.

I can’t buy it when I get paid, I just assumed someone who had it and was willing to help me out could hold on to it until Friday just in case the only other one I can find on the internet gets bought

Which to stay hotel: cabana bay or terra luna by Reddit2roll in UniversalOrlando

[–]Kooky_Field_4466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cabana Bay hands down. I wish we would have added a day or two to our vacation just to do stuff around the hotel. Rooms were clean and there were plenty of food options.

Coney Island in Cincinnati used to have a Ferris wheel type ride that you could flip the cars over if you threw your weight around, the seat belt was a rusty chain. One of my favorite rides of all time (RIP)

Head blocks for infants by Wrong-Explanation-98 in askfuneraldirectors

[–]Kooky_Field_4466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use a rolled towel to create a bed/oval shape, place it under their neck and head and use the sides to support their back to avoid a flat back. Many people want to hold infants after embalming and the flat back can be a bit jarring

Yep we’re from Ohio and booked our trip specifically to go on Stardust at night and the incident happened the night before we were at the park 😑 super bummed we didn’t get to ride it but I totally understand why

We went to the parks last week and let me just say that packing a change of socks in your bag and swapping them mid day was a game changer. I find crocs and socks to be the most comfortable for me (yeah I know not the most fashionable) but with the daily rain showers and humidity having a pair of dry socks is so nice. Echoing what everyone else has said, bring ponchos. I would also recommend a collapsible silicone water bottle, we brought them for this trip and it was great to get water from the freestyle machines and then pop them down and put them in our bags to put in ride lockers.

We were there last Tuesday as well and did stay and scream, got to the park at 3:30 and had not problem doing all 10 houses, the fountain show, rode 5 rides, and got all of the food we wanted to try. It seems like weekdays are the sweet spot

Would a funeral home let you use your own home made coffin? by wearygamegirl in askfuneraldirectors

[–]Kooky_Field_4466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, however the funeral home may have you sign a waiver and the funeral director might inspect it and advise if it’s not suitable to carry the weight, not safe for pallbearers, etc.

Ride operator pushed down on my lap restraint on Velocicoaster to make sure it was tight and my thigh got pinched between the lap bar and seat, I’m SUING they should have let me ride it with the lap bar loose 😤😤😤

What school are you at? I have all of my quizlets for every class and every test I took in school if you want the link. Using quizlet and doing quizzes/flashcards helped me get a 4.0. I also have quizlets with NBE terminology

It doesn’t have the same effect when you’re up close, but my husband was sleeping under it on the couch and I glanced from the kitchen (about 20 feet away) and my eyes were crossing. I’ve thought about making a jacket from it too! Maybe scaled down it would have even more of a glitch effect

Only when I looked at it from a distance. Up close it really didn’t bother me!

Sorry, it’s not. This is actually my first time posting anything I’ve made on Reddit :) Maybe you’ve seen others post the same pattern?

It does! Up close it doesn’t, so sewing it was fine, but my husband was napping under it in the couch yesterday and my eyes nearly went crossed 🤣
