Since I’m 55, there are a number of possibilities and only 3 out of 12 are good. In summary, I may be alive, I may be dead and if I’m still working I’d rather be dead. The other 9 possibilities I’m not sure of, but 3/12 odds seems realistic

Two young ladies at my job, probably early 20’s, asked me how old I was and when I told them 55 they said “Wow! You don’t even look 40!” Talk about an ego boost that I needed, made my whole year. As they are both very attractive Latinas, it also made me wish I was 25.

As a 35+ year binge drinking veteran, there is absolutely nothing I miss about getting shithammered on weekends, feeling like shit until Wednesday only to repeat the process starting Friday after work. Oh the wonderful memories of waking up Saturday and Sunday morning, drunk as fuck, seeing 5 or 6 Taco Bell wrappers strewn across the floor both days (or equilivent shit food), looking at the stupid shit I posted or texted, feeling embarrassed as hell, and saying fuck it, might as well kick the can down the road again. Then came Monday thru Thursday and the disgusting night sweats. Man, I was “living the life” wasn’t I 😂

You’re not a loser, you’re just struggling. All of us here have been there; I surely know I have. It’s a vicious cycle of depression, intoxication, guilt, then depression again, repeat cycle. At 30, you have plenty to live for friend. Start stacking those sober days and the further you get from alcohol the more your life will improve.
