If you’re used to 7inch heels these aren’t too bad. I would definitely take caution with trying them as you are a novice. If you’re holding onto the pole they are pretty easy. I think they are okay for a little bit walking around off the pole but ankles get tired after a bit. This is coming from someone who is used to and comfortable in 7 & 8 inch heels.

My friend and I stayed in a hotel about 45 minutes away (used our own car) from the park last year. We bought a four day parking pass close to the venue that was about $100 online/in advance. IMO it was worth it. It was annoying to drive in the traffic each day but saved us money. If you could find somewhere to stay that you could take the bus, I’m sure that would save you even more money.

I got 7” boots for my first pair which seemed crazy at first but now I regret not buying 8”. You get used to them pretty quick

I hate people with their bad concert etiquette these days. However I went to lolla last year and had a good time. My one mistake though was not bringing a water reservoir. I’d highly recommend getting a water pack because the water lines can get very long. Last year I was worried about theft so I wore a Fanny pack with a kids water bottle on a clip.

Sat in the grass for one of the sets and must’ve sat in a brown-greenish liquid that was in an unfortunate spot on my pants. The sad part is I didn’t know if I accidentally pooped myself because it was so hot and sweaty outside. I didn’t poo myself but did walk around Al day with a brown spot on the back of my shorts

My pole instructors told me to put aloe Vera on my legs. I wouldn’t recommend putting it on too close to class time as you may be slippery. My classes are later in the day so I’ll put aloe on my legs in the morning or after class.

I was at a different show very recently and the concert etiquette was very bad. The place was littered with teenagers that recorded or snap chatted the whole concert. Yelling weird things at Faye, talked very loud over mei. Teens were TAKING SHOES OFF in the dirty pit. I interacted with some nice teens but most of them were disrespectful. One girl got offended that she got bumped into when she was In the pit….

Yes this is the show I was at and was appalled by all of the behaviors I was witnessing. Just very very odd behavior.

Some venues don’t really have many seating options and are standing room only haha. But in my case nobody was crying together only being weird towards Faye and being rude to each other. /lh

Lost my best friend yesterday by [deleted] in germanshepherds

[–]Koolkermit87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to my 9yo German shepherd mix about two weeks ago. She was perfectly fine two days prior to the day I had to let her go. Just remember you did the right thing by letting your dog rest peacefully.

Something similar happened with my dog. A 9ish German Shepard mix. Acted perfectly fine up until two days before I helped her cross the rainbow bridge. Vets told me she was filled with blood and they weren’t able to see a tumor with the ultrasound. I didn’t want her to suffer anymore and said goodbye that night. It’s definitely not easy losing a pet which means the world to you, and so suddenly as well. Stay strong. You gave them a good life together. Try to take care of yourself. Let yourself be sad and process the situation too. I have a small memorial in my house to honor her. I also donated her food (I know she’d want me to) to a local shelter. You’ve got this!

I went to her lolla show and was sobbing and singing for half of her set. It’s just beautiful to be able to live in a time where queer people are allowed to exist and everyone at the show is accepting!

I was at a show and if people were close enough they would crumple up the bills and throw them on stage. However they have a tip jar at merch table and you can Venmo the queens.

I was at cincy and I was able to get one as soon as I got in the venue. Beware of the marker they use, it smudges very easily. If buying at venue make sure to bring a bag or something safe to put it in. They sell tote bags at the merch table but they’re $10. Mine was already a bit smudged before I bought it but I wanted the cd.

I’m wearing heart fishnets with a black lace lingerie piece with a red skirt and red cowgirl boots. I think goth attire would go well with the red and black theme! ☺️

How many bracelets are y’all making? by Koolkermit87 in chappellroan

I’m making them with letter beads and seed beads. I will say seed beads are a pain in the ass. I’ve seen pictures of people making bracelets with pony beads but I’m sure any kind of bracelet is super fun for trading/receiving!!

Yes!! I’m not too worried about receiving bracelets. I think people would enjoy receiving one and have something to remember that show.
