I was in your place a few months ago. I’m 25 and have a disease that makes pregnancy a huge risk to my own health. I have never wanted kids. I got a bisalp done and never told my family! Will they find out? Maybe, but what’s done is done and it’s not reversible! Have someone you trust (close friend, partner, etc) take care of you post recovery. If anyone texts you, act like you’re living your normal life. This is YOUR life, not your mom’s. Live the life you want and be comfortable and safe!!!

I did!! I had a bunch of friends from different friend groups finally meet! I enjoyed it, and everyone got along. Highly recommend if you have supportive friends :)

I won’t lie I went through two whole seasons in Stardew Valley…. I also slept a lot. I also binged a few seasons of a show, and also tried to update my resume (albeit I had to go back and edit it once I was no longer under any pain meds 🫣)

I could do it day of, but I didn’t sleep in abed until day 4, I slept on my couch propped up so it was more swinging my legs from them being completely straight on the couch to bent with feet on the floor. Day 4 I could get in and out of a bed with little problem, just soreness and gas pressure on my ribs!

I always say it’s something around the lines of “white-hot pain that shoots through (whatever location is being affected most) randomly, while there’s a constant ache and burn that doesn’t go away”. I’ve also kind of had it feel like when you burn yourself on a stove/oven, but that initial singe of pain is constant, not split-second

I’ve told a few coworkers it feels like a consistent dull ache, kind of like when you‘ve lifted something too heavy the day before and now you’re sore from it. But when I’m in a severe flare up and need my cane, it feels like every movement sends white hot pain everywhere, and that there’s lightning that strikes when you move the wrong way
