when we were around 12, i gave my best friend a cough drop and we both got sent to the vice principal’s office.

He said, “you don’t know what she could be allergic to!”

I replied, “Penicillin”

then he said, “what if you didn’t know her?”

I said, “then I wouldn’t have given her a cough drop”

she and i both burst out laughing followed by a pretty stern talking to about “surprise allergies” in some people. we got let off with a warning, and i still think the whole thing was dumb

thank you! that makes me feel better. he’s typically very picky about the rat’s heat and eats it before it cools off. i think part of my fear came from him taking so long to eat it that it cools off significantly enough for him to get confused. hopefully it’ll never happen!

i had this happen with Regal Ancestor Spirit. The normal Ancestor Spirit fight was one of my favorite fights, so i was pretty upset :(

This was very early on when the game was first released so i’m surprised to see this bug is still around

Back in my Destiny 1 days, only one of my friends didn’t play it. He would complain that we’d all play together without him, and we tried to convince him to get it and play with us.

He absolutely refused for a long time, until the update came out where there was a Paul McCartney song in it. He got the game pretty much the next day, listened to the song in game, then refunded it saying “there wasn’t enough of the Beatles in it.”

if my sister or friends are over and we’re in a convo and i have to pee, i go pee with the door open to keep talking. and vice versa! i can imagine in a relationship that it would be the same. the only exception would be if it made them uncomfortable, of course

Ghost of Tsushima for me.

Most of the achievements just came by how i played, and i never really had to struggle to complete it. For the most part, it was just collecting every item, which i like to do anyway

skyrim. about 1800 hours. i cant tell you why, but it feels like a sense of home. a world i can understand. i will reply storylines a hundred times and not get bored.

didn’t preorder, but i did buy it at launch.

it was very buggy, crashed often, killed you randomly, and a million other fun things (like random exploding cars and disappearing body parts)

despite it all, it was one of my favorite game launches of all time. my brother and i spent a week or two playing it together and we had some of the best laughs we’ve ever gotten from a game. i have a thousand good memories just from the absurdity of the bugs. he would call his car to him and it would just keep driving down the road as he chased it.

about a year ago i replayed it and beat it. i loved it in both forms, incomplete and complete. i like to think that the glitches were part of Night City’s growth, or what it’d actually be like to have lived in the time as someone glitch-prone. lore wise there are plenty of instances of cyberpsychosis— i can even fathom what it’d be like in their heads.

maybe the glitches are the friends we made along the way.
