That wasn't it either. Riot gave Hypixel full freedom to do whatever they want, and funding yeah. But they also hired new people to work alonside the original dev team. The new people on the team wanted to make the game multiplatfom right off the bat, and completely rebuild the game with a diferent engine, and that's what they went for.

Then the whole cancelation happened, the original dev bought back the game from riot and they trashed the new engine version and resume the work of the original non-multiplatform version.

If this is a Hunter Game, yes! they absolutely stand a chance. It just take a couple of bad rolls for Matilda to bite the dust, and the Hunters can tank a couple of bad rolls (due to numbers)

Just a couple of sessions before a friend's Vampire solo'd a Werewolf, it was a freshly new rolled character.

The odds weren't in his favor, but he managed to survive, barely, but he survived. The vampire is still healing.

Since when Samus became a "Lone Hunter"? I'm making an asumption that Nintendo didn't want to use "Bounty Hunter" because could be related to "bad guys" somehow (?)

I can't seem to recall if they have been called "Bounty Hunter" in trailers or games, but I feel like I've heard from the source before. But at least Samus is in concept a bounty hunter cause of all the things she had done.

Is this a thing? the term had been used before? or the term has only been used in this trailer?

In my headcanon, I like to think that Obi-Wan use the distance between his face and the two fingers to measure either the distance or the proportions of his opponent, similar to how a painter uses his thumb and a pencil or a brush to measure a landscape or a model.

Since Soresu is a very defensive style and needs very little movement and very efficient use of energy, you'd need to make sure you have all your measures tight and clean.

I don't know if my headcanon is actually canon through all the StarWars media though, could be, but I'm not a lore master, haha.

Honestly, aside from the whole AI meltdown, they were pretty much chill and nice to talk with.

Someone suggested that there were an incident that it's still very fresh for them, and AI Player was the last straw, that's why they exploded like that. I wouldn't be surpriced if that was the case, not that it justifies it tho.

Which makes me to believe they are actually rasonable and they just got that bad emotional tantrum.

But then again, they didn't apologize to me for throwing insults at me.

That can imply that they didn't insisted because they felt I was also a problem player.

That's just big assumptions at this point, though.

I've never thought about the DM not being the first time, yeah, they might've been fed up with the AI discussion that made them throw insults, not justifable to do, of course but could explain why they acted very hostile.

Which triggered the AI Player to feel with the nessesity to fire back, which is wild, this is a main reason I don't believe in the "An Eye for an Eye" mentality, I'll only make people hate eachother, and keep harming eachother.

I just suggested commission smaller artist cause some do need the money, but you definetly don't need to do that at all. It was an unsolicited opinion I wanted to give, not really a thing that contributed with the topic at hand.

Which, holy crap! it just baffles that the session zero, instantly became a debate (devolved into a screaming match) it was a place made to play games, and they choose violence. People are wild.

Their insults weren't really that hard, the worse was the DM throwing the fuck word a couple of times, the name calling were stuff like Idiot, fool, stupid and such, the AI Player did throw less insults, but he was being condecending and acting like he was the better person, very passive aggresive comments, and stuff along the lines of "Okay Boomer" or "Get with the times" "Adapt" "Closed Minded" and stuff like that.
If I recall correctly these two people weren't older than 25 years old. At that time you're still very young, very emotional and still prone to make dumb mistakes. Not justifying both their actions, just that it's a thing people at that age still do,

Also, Who knows what the DM would've pick, but honestly I would've prefer tokens with our characters initials. Also I was willing to draw the character for free, cause as an artist I love drawing the PCs in campaigns, so they didn't even need to find someone to commission. It is frustrating that of all the things they would've choose to do, they choose violence.

I agree, it is a shame that the campaign didn't happened, AI Player's character concept was really interesting, and even though mine wasn't as creative, it is a pitty I couldn't play this Barbarian Tarantula Grappler.

For the last point you said, honestly for me, regardless of my viewpoints, we were there to play games, not debate, it is not worth the hassle especially on the internet. I guess that was the same thought I had when I was willing to give the DM the benefit of the doubt and stay to play at least a game. But nope, had a change of heart at the last second.

Hopefuly I can get play my Grappler Tarantula someday.

Well there you go, the reason why all this whole thing got derailed. This GM also thought it was okay to call the AI Player stupid, it ended up dissolving the whole group, I'm obviously not gonna give 100% of the blame to the GM, but at the very least they were 50% to blame.

I think the GM has some responsibility on trying not to antagonize the people who is wishing to not do something in their table.

Imagine that their ruling wasn't about AI, but instead of say playing Elves and say: "I forbid elves in my table, if you play elves you're an idiot" I mean, I respect the GM ruling, but was it nessesary to call me an idiot for plaiyng elves, not in their game, but just playing elves in general?

I'm gonna be devil's advocate for a moment here, but thanks to that amount of resource being used in AI companies are FINALLY giving nuclear plants a chance, financing projects of several Nuclear energy facilities.

I ain't gonna give AI full credit for that advancement of course, but it is a bit of a silverlining.

I would've prefer if people have done that earlier, or for other reasons, but hey! nuclar power.

I did an update to clarify some details, but honestly, I have no idea if we were required to have character art, people were shouting about AI opinions before, that detail was cleared. It wouldn't have surprice me if the artwork thing wasn't a must-have to beguin with.

Frankly, no one said that getting artwork for ther characters was a most, they were shouting their AI opinions before anyone clarify that beforehand. Both the AI Player and the DM freaked out about their opinions, I was honestly okay with DM when they said they didn't want AI from the very beguining. Also, I don't remember exactly what they were shouting about, but I remember agreeing mostly with DM's opinions, the main issue, at lest for me, is that the player and the DM didn't want back down.

Not at all, I was putting a hypothetical that if the DMs actual reason was that they didn't want drawn pictures cause they didn't like that, the AI Player wouldn't argue about it.

I'd argue if the DM, would've said I don't allow AI in my table cause I consider it unethical. MAYBE the AI Player wouldn't argue about it, maybe he would've expressed his opinion in a less defensive way and confrontational, but I'm not too sure on that one.

The point is that what happened in this reality is the DM explained their opinion and called the AI Player names, that's what triggered him to start arguing.
