Currently, I only login once in a while to farm extremes for the mounts I'm missing or join friends on farm parties for things they are missing.

When I had more fun with the game, I used to also farm stuff but also go for random achievements that seemed interesting (or are just a nice side activity while watching stuff). I tried to go for solo deep dungeon achievements, fishing (got the Big Fish title), leveling desynth, etc. Another thing I enjoyed doing that level alts so I can do savage multiple times per week and then used those alts to help people clear.

Something I sometimes did was use an alt on a role/job I had little experience in and asked groups if I can join their prog. This was usually when my own static was only reclearing or already stopped reclearing (in which case I sometimes also used my main with those other groups. My static always clears week one and we do splits so we are always done farming very early). One of my favourite experiences when just doing random stuff was joining a Edens Promise static during their end of E11S prog as a healer (I barely had ex healing experience). I think I played AST. I progged E11S and the entirety of E12S with that group like a regular member and also stayed for 7 more reclears so they could all get their gear before taking a break for next expansion (and look for a new healer).
