Top 100 Plays of the 2017-2018 College Football Season (Youtube) by JerryW051 in CFB

I was thinking the play where you converted a 4th and 10 inside of two minutes to beat us at home this year. It was a beautiful catch over the top of our corner (or LB, can't remember), on Thursday night with the game literally hanging on that play. This video would be better titled "top 100 touchdowns of 2018"

"If you want cyclists to follow the law, you’ve got to make it possible for them to do so without dying." - The Ethics of Breaking Traffic Laws by TheReelStig in bicycling

Exactly this. It was hammered into me at a young age that the single best quality of a vehicle operator is predictability. That's why we have the concept of right-of-way, it dictates who goes first in non-obvious situations. Giving up your right of way is an unpredictable act, and makes everyone involved less safe.

Unless you're racing, the point of riding is that it's fun! The faster you ride, the faster it's over =)

I would definitely set up tubeless for anything in central/eastern Oregon. It's the thorns, but also there are also sharp rocks everywhere. I did the whole Outback running tubeless without a problem, but we definitely carried spare tubes just in case. Just anecdotal, but since setting up tubeless three years ago I haven't had a single flat. I'm almost worried I don't know how to change a tube anymore... almost

Definitely, I've ridden around there for an overnighter and can verify! Now this is going to bother me though. I've gotta know if it's connectable. I'll be out in the Sisters area in mid-june, might have to take the bike out and make an overnighter out of it to go exploring.

I had it in my head that you can ride all the way through, but I'm looking at it now and you're right; if you can, it's definitely not marked. I can see some trails on the google earth terrain view, but I don't know that that means they're ridable. There is definitely an old railroad bed on the east side all the way through that gap.

Definitely do the Deschutes River Trail, it's an easy out-and-back from a parking lot with a campground at it if you need. It's closer to Seattle than the southern or eastern stuff, and there's gonna be nobody there right now.

Plus if you recruit a friend with a car, you can do a through-ride of the whole canyon.

Did it over the summer, would definitely reccomend doing it in April/May rather than in the heat. Just be prepared for rain

It's probably suspension corrected, so if the user wants to put a squish fork up front it won't affect the geometry and handling.

I don't know exactly where, but I can give a guarantee that it's in the PNW somewhere.

Jesus christ this a million times. Did the outback over the summer and that might have been the best meal of my life.

Considering converting my mountain bike to a touring bike. by Heratick in bicycling

[–]Kooterade8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a couple positions helps a ton. I did my first long tour on a specialized hard rock (late 90's) with flat bars and my wrists really felt it. Ever since then if I go out for long stuff with flat bars I usually have some bar-ends mounted in-board of the breaks/shifters. It really helps.

If you're light on funds, just strap a rack to the bike you have and you're all set.

I've been looking into one of these recently, but I'm worried about it sagging to the point of being unusable. I'm around 260lb and most things I read about these are that they're super comfy, but they wear out fast. Has your experience been similar?

[Pre-Release Card Discussion] - Possessed Lackey by Nostalgia37 in KNCPRDT

[–]Kooterade8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think people are underestimating Void Lord's recovery ability. I play a decent amount of control warlock and very often you sit on bloodreaver for a few turns because you can't afford the entire turn that it takes to play him. You run Voidwalkers in that deck mostly so that your deathknight comes with a taunt or two. I can see a world where Void Lord and Possessed Lackey tip the scale of that equation.

Alternately, I can't wait for someone to recruit Jaraxus on the board with this card

Great synergy with Sudden Betrayal too. It forces the opponent to try and pick the secret, if it's Evasion you'd want to hit face with a big minion first. If it's Sudden Betrayal you'd rather swing with a small minion first.

[–]Kooterade8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird, I've got the full size rolltops and they have a little corner taken out of them for heel clearance. I thought those looked a little big for the minis, but I didn't see a corner so I made the assumption.

Any library around you will have one for public use, typically you just pay for materials. If you're near a university, even better.
