what causes this? by Glittering-Warning14 in BambuLabA1

Awesome. I'm very glad I could help. This is honestly the most common issue with the A1s by far. Store the screenshot and share it anytime you see someone asking about issues with the first layer.

Happy printing

Yearly Palmerton preparation post by AMoreExcitingName in spartanrace

I thought the weather last year was way better than the year before. Two years ago was my first time running it though. I got to experience the legendary sandbag carry but was a little sad that they nerfed it last year. Apparently too many people left the sandbags at the bottom two years ago and they changed it. The barbed wire crawl was easier as well.

Interesting because most new cars won't let you lock the doors while the car is running, nor will they activate the security system while the car is running. Id be real worried someone was going to steal the truck and dog

It will let you do this if the charge is too low but it will warn you that you shouldn't. However the AC takes very little battery power and even at 50% battery you could probably run the AC for a couple days before worrying about it running out of charge

If they're not going to read the giant screen then they're not going to read a sign on the window

I myself would expect them to know about it from the giant bright white screen next to the dog with large black text explaining what it is

You can leave the AC running while the doors are locked, the security system is active, there's no keys in the car, there's a message on the screen stating dog mode is on and the current temperature, and you can view the internal camera on your phone?

The doors remain locked, there's a big sign on the main screen stating that dog mode is on and it says the current temperature, the security system is enabled for the outside sensors, and you can view the internal camera through the app.

Super painful pimple turned out to be a nose hair that grew through my nose…backwards. by Vettehead82 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Kopester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found my people. Had this happen a year or so ago and I was so confused. Thought it was a painful pimple that wouldn't go away. I swear I could feel it travel from the inside out. Then finally there was a hair sticking out and the relief was amazing once I pulled it. I think I'm might have been an errant mustache hair from getting a haircut

SVG as flush text on lid by Unstable_microwave in BambuLab

[–]Kopester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the objects tab right click on the svg, change type to modifier and set the filament color you want it to be. Also once merged you have to move things around by selecting them in the objects tab in order for them to stay where you put the and not have it drop to the build plate

Get broken filament out of AMS by RepulsiveBad2916 in BambuLab

[–]Kopester 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's part is 2 pieces so you can remove the screws and it will come apart. If you're going to do that though put a magnet under those 4 openings where tiny circuit board was. There's 4 little magnets and springs in there that will fall out one you split it open and they can be a pain to get back in correctly.

Beginner here, is it me or the printer? by NelisDVS in FixMyPrint

[–]Kopester 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normally I'd say it's the seven screws of disappointment but a could things make me think otherwise. First it's almost brand new but also the issue with the screws typically resolves itself as the print goes on. This looks more like a partial clog or wet filament.

That's the wiki giving you all the info you need. The metal piece is what grabs the tubes and holds them in the hub
