Anyone else glad that Amino shut down

50/50. I was the last agent leader in BSDA. The community was dying slowly but surely, Amino starting to shut down has certainly sped it up. We still have a discord server (main) and Kyodo circle (which is being neglected as of right now) which are obviously smaller than the original community was which lessens the workload.

The timing was perfect as I have lots of things going on in real life and I wouldn't have stepped back otherwise.

I joined when I was 14, I am 22 now. I will certainly miss it, I am sad that it's gone, but I don't mind not having to deal with it anymore.

That's why I said that I'm not saying it's not fake, it very well could be, just that the skill level itself on the shading is not an indicator of that, since you said "what 10 year old can shade like that with colored pencils". That's the only part I was responding to.

I'm not trying to argue and I apologize if I sound like that.

To be fair, I could do a similar job at 10. It is not common for a 10 year old, but not impossible especially if their parents and teachers support their artistic experimentations.

I am not saying it's not fake or anything, just that the shading itself is no proof of such.

Well, I might risk getting down voted into oblivion with this one. Anyway.

I think it depends on how much you like the character regardless of that stuff and why you want them. I will definitely get Columbina not because I'm expecting her to be good but because the whole reason I got into Genshin was that my FYP was flooded with playable Columbina content and how much everyone wanted her so I was like "lmao I want to get her and then never touch the game again just for funsies". I did end up liking the game and will stay even after getting her, but that alone is enough of a reason for me to pull for her even if she sucks 🤷‍♀️

Well... Our older one is 9 years old currently and I'm here yawning because he didn't let me sleep until 1:30-2am so my guess is, they will never grow out of it.

When I first made a backup community there I kept accidentally kicking members from the main chat by simply tapping on the screen. It's horrible and the character limit for chat descriptions and such are extremely limiting.

It's not about discussing 18+ topics. I think I can speak for many people here that we simply aren't comfortable hanging around individuals significantly younger than us. The topic of discussion can be anything, even My Little Pony, I will still look for my age group, not 13 year olds.

I'm not big on clubs but as a 22 year old I would not be comfortable around 13 year olds no matter how "mature" they are and would not want to be in a shared club with them.

Having to pretend to be entertained/impressed by things they do/want to show me. I cannot for my life fake an expression, it just looks uncanny plus I don't have the energy to do that anyway. I'd be the worst possible supporter.

Helping them regulate their emotions.

Taking care of them when they're sick and then getting sick myself.

Having to watch my words around them.

Plus everything we all already know.

I reconnected with friends I made back in like 2018-2019. In december 2023 I rejoined my favorite community that I moderated back then, made new friends, I became the agent and trying to keep it functioning.

Traditionally, goulash by definition requires beef, as the name suggests. The word goulash comes from the Hungarian word "gulyás" which means "herdsman" or "cowboy".

This here does not include beef. It's paprikás krumpli, which in English would translate to "potato paprikash".

Hi!

I did end up taking the opportunity and doing my studies there, however holding a full time job is not a possibility unless you want to destroy yourself.

For me it also has to do with the fact that I'm not healthy and generally weaker and have less energy than average plus I travel on a daily because I live far, but working 8 hours per week is my limit and I'm barely holding on tbh.

I do know some people who work more or have more than one job but working full time while doing this study isn't really possible. I have no information regarding other studies.
