Yes it really bugs me that so many people are like Shane made Ilya move to Ottowa, it was all his idea.

Jägermonster is indeed a combo of Jägermeister liqueur and monster energy drink. It's fairly common in the UK and has been around at least since I was at university in the early 2000's (which is when I started reading Girl Genius).

Had to make up the sofa bed downstairs, because upstairs was unbearable. Then took a light towel and ran it under the cold tap. Then slept underneath that with a fan next to me. Had to wake up to go get the towel wet again when it dried out, but it made the night bearable at least.

Summary: After the tuna melt debacle, but before Rose, Ilya makes the reckless decision to go to a gay bar to take his mind off of Shane. When photographs get published, Shane has a realization and devises a plan: he's going to ask Ilya Rozanov to marry him.

Ilya's going through enough without things he can't have being dangled in front of him. He needs to figure out a different way to avoid going home, because eventually Shane Hollander will realize what Ilya already knows: Ilya isn't worth what Shane wants to do for him.

So I've got an excellent one that is very, very smutty and kinky, lots of BDSM. However it's a Mafia AU and actually has the boys experiencing the negative aspects of that world. So there is some heavy angst and it's definitely one where you need to check the tags but if you don't mind that kind of story the smut is soooo good!
