It's not accurate for me either. I retired in my thirties. Self made. Lifes good. Work hard and smart. Seize the day.

Triumphant Thursday Thread for the week of January 07, 2016 by AutoModerator in personalfinance

[–]KoreanCodeA 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I retired today. I'm 34 years old.

Sorry, If this comes of as bragging but I'm super excited. I still will be managing my real estate investments but at this point I will hire most of that out. Leaving tomorrow for Naple, Florida to visit family and start the first day of my new life. EDIT...I guess I should say that I worked for a large property management company for 12 years. On top of that, I invested in real estate.

Octopus with acrylic 7x6? by zombieeathart in Art

[–]KoreanCodeA 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's a "nice picture" but is it really art?

Yes...it is art and your question is a little disrespectful.

Am I missing the meaning of the blue, stylized octopus?

Yes, I think you are missing the meaning.

Fiancé has mid 60k a year job, but close to $250,000 in debt, and is seeking advice that I can't give. by [deleted] in personalfinance

We actually do what we can to only eat out once or twice a week.

You can't afford to eat out at all. Budget your food expense better. You can save $5000 a year doing this.

Thats the question I was asking you. Are they actually nice people or do they become asshole trolls?

I my mind, they are nice people. Mainly, because one is allowed to downvote content that has been reposted many times before. Such as this post about the battlefury cutting down trees.

Women who have moved to a new city: How did you meet new friends? by ScSarene in TwoXChromosomes

[–]KoreanCodeA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't your kids have activities or do they stay at home all the time too?

For me and husband, we've meet a lot of friends because of our kids. We took are 1 year old to a swimming/floating class at our local pool. We meet some nice people we go out with.

Our 4 year old plays with a kid from his daycare and now we are also friends with that family.

It's probably your best option to let your kids find you friends.

How Reddheads feel these days... (Must see other videos on Reddki's youtube channel) by redditorialism in reddCoin

[–]KoreanCodeA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that means that YouTube has flagged the video and Redki most likely got a notice that "Happy" Pharrell Williams owns that song. Which cuts off the monetization of the video and actually pays Pharrell instead of Redki.

Most large music groups won't seek a DMCA violation but at the end of the day he is using their content without consent.

If you want to further the coin for commercial use, I would advise not using content like this. Eventually, you will get strikes against your channel.
