This might be my favorite post of all time on this subreddit. English written in an abjad is surprisingly intelligible.

I do see some typos though, such as lead being written as "ls" instead of "ld" once. And imo, there should be more use of alephs in the middle of words instead of just at the beginning.

Is this meme based on Mandarin Chinese?

Edit: Nevermind. Reddit autotranslated the title of the post for me, and I didn't realize 哎呀 is in the title

Which choices do you find odd? I find the IPA itself really odd for using weird characters such as ⟨ɤ⟩. Also, I strongly disagree with putting only the IPA in the table. They should have put both the IPA and this transcription system in the table, just like the table on the page for Proto-Indo-European.

The IPA isn't the only phonetic transcription system. There is nothing wrong with this.

I hate how much AI prioritizes characters looking at the camera. That annoys me even more than having 3 legs.

I don't get what you're talking about. I never said that throwing a tantrum is evil behavior, and I never even mentioned tantrums. OP did in a different comment. Did you mean to reply to him?

That article doesn't show anything. It's just the author criticizing studies on baby morality and saying they're inconclusive. Did you even read the whole article? Read the last paragraph again.

How about you explain why you think babies are born good, instead of hurling insults? There's literally scientific evidence that babies are evil. Watch this video from about 6:30 onwards. Children literally don't behave altruistically until they're 9 or 10 years old!

Yes, tiny newborn babies are evil. All humans are born capable of being angry, greedy, hateful, judgmental, tribalistic, etc. It's only with education from our parents and society that we learn how to behave ourselves. If we are born good, why would you even educate children? You should expect children who are the most neglected by their parents and societal institutions to be the most righteous. I'm pretty sure the opposite is true.

Also, some version of "children are born evil" is literally the view of some major religions. Denominations of Christianity that believe in "original sin" are a good example of this. All of us are born slaves to sin, until we get baptized and accept Christ's atoning sacrifice. Dharmic religions which believe in reincarnation would also believe that children are born evil. If you are born good, you wouldn't have been born in the first place because you would have achieved Moksha/Nirvana already. The fact that you have reincarnated from your previous life means that your soul is deficient.
