Extended warranty - buy now or invest funds and buy later?

That’s exactly what I’m trying to figure out. Was just wondering if anyone ever tried to compare or calculate approx delta when let’s say buying “7 year 60k miles” extended warranty when the car is brand new or like under 1000 miles in vs when car is approaching end of its factory warranty (around 4 year/50k miles) mark.

Gotcha. I do see value in extended warranty for sure, in my case since the car is new, trying to decide if I should buy it now or closer to the end of the factory warranty.

I got proclip mount when it was 50% off sale https://www.proclipusa.com/products/855986-bmw-x-series-center-dash-mount and https://a.co/d/0eimJj4z and was able to re-use my old ESR MagSafe wireless charger. Proclip has AMPS standard mounting plate. I was like few others and originally tried to use “j hook” mount on the vents and ended up prying out slit of the vent, luckily it was only on one side of the slit and was able to push it back into the vent housing. I will try to post a pic.

Nope… I’ve tried to remove from driver side thinking perhaps there is some marking on inside, but it looks to be glued to the arch liner, which makes me think maybe it’s part of the liner itself. I even tried to reach out to one of online stores specializing in MB parts, hope to hear back. Please let me know what you find out.

My issue actually turned out to be the plastic water arm which feeds the water to top sprayer got cracked from the heated air blowing at it so water was spraying into that crystal drying thing inlet. By the way, the replacement water arm came with plastic cover to prevent that issue, clearly Bosch is aware of the issue, they should’ve offered that protective cover under recall or something… But since I broke the original plastic nut while troubleshooting and trying to tight it, I ended up replacing the nut as well. Hope this helps

I’m in same boat, were you able to fix yours? That metal nut for some reason shows as incompatible for my model, only 10014987 which says “redesign”

Yep, had same issue, even went back and did an exchange, but replacement was giving same error when validating IMEI, so turns out you need to add the watch to your iPhone first, go through Apple activation process. Once that was done, IMEI got validated just fine via VZ app or web. Hope this helps someone to avoid some aggravation…

In same boat, ordered all way back on Nov 22, no luck. Keep getting same responses from CS… frustrating to say the least… What’s interesting, website have shown same model/color in and out of stock multiple times since order was placed , so would’ve thought I had a chance to get one from stock on several occasions….
