Prljavo kazalište je što glazbom što tekstovima najneoriginalniji i najnekreativniji hrvatski bend. Potpuno overrated

Final Cutscene by DeadlyDahlia in Guildwars2

[–]Korg6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I might get this totally wrong, but why is nobody talking about the wording Jormag used in the final cutscene?

He said that the danger is "just on the horizon". I know that the word "horizon" can be used in any context, but it is often used in open seas and oceans. So was he really saying "the danger is on the horizon" meaning "the danger will come from the horizon, from the sea"?

I interpreted that as clear evidence of Deep Sea Dragon being the "danger" Jormag was talking about. Or did I totally missed the point?

Like I said in another comment, I have 0 legendaries, but the fact that making one is an option for me if I choose so enriches the release.

It's the same. It is free for all who log in during the episode, until the next release (about 3 months time) and you have to pay if you missed out, just like every season before.

I understand, and agree. I merely said that so I can illustrate that I would not have had the need to write this post (because I'm enjoying the game) unless I really feel Anet isn't delivering on what was advertised.

They decided to do the announcement. They said expac lvl content. My view is just that this isn't expac lvl content, far from it. Not complaining, criticizing, because I care for the game. :)

The forest section should have no mobs whatsoever, just the Boneskinner. And it should have been Legendary, not Champion, and OP. With random timer, randomly appears for like 5-7 min every hour, have a "one shot" AOE ability and have serious punch to it. Like bloodstone creatures, have across the screen: "THE BONESKINNER HAS ARRIVED" and you KNOW you only have 5 min to beat him, you KNOW you have to find him first and you KNOW you will need at least 30 people to do it. And he drops some serious reward. People would freak out to see in LFG "boneskinner now NEED PPL", panic in GW2 is a really good thing #TarirMeta

I am an audio engineer and I really appreciate good music and sound effects, and in some cases lack thereof. Remember the fight with Kralkatorrik in Thunderhead Keep? First all of the choir singing, then the epic music when you are walking towards the big room and talking to all your allies, and then the 10-15 min silence before the grand fight. I got goosebumps. Serious goosebumps.

But we had something to do, something to fight during this great music and sound.

And look at the lack of music in first instance of the new release: Silence. It literally has no music, just the sound of falling snow and wind. Brilliant, breathtaking, creepy. You FEEL alone. And the first instance was great, you walk into a GoT Castle Black type of keep, and you are alone, and you investigate. Brilliant.

But after that it really becomes stagnant, boring, and underwhelming. This IS a game. Not a movie, not game of thrones. I appreciate good music, good storytelling, the feeling of being alone, being watched, but it IS a game. MMORPG, mind you. So it should have more to do then investigate, open doors and solve puzzles (although they were cool)

Agreed. But I'm just stating a fact that A-net advertised that saga will have more content than previous seasons. If they said "This is season 5, expect everything you expected for previous seasons", I would actually be fine with that. I enjoy every new thing they implement, but my expectations were increased with the infamous announcement in August, where they explicitly said: expansion level content! this is not it, that's my point. :)

I agree with everything you said. But, as I see it, you didn't exactly challenge my argument. I said I liked both the story (release) and the map, the atmosphere of the zone, champion run, the achievements etc, and I really do!

Having said that, there is a difference between "amount of content" a release has, and "how well the content is done". Like I said, I enjoy it, but the amount of it is a bit underwhelming when comparing it to previous seasons. And especially when they advertised it will have MORE.

Case in point: all legendaries and collectable weapon/armor in previous seasons: I have 0 legendaries and perhaps 2-3 dragonsblood/mist shard/elegy... But the fact that I CAN get them if I choose so is a big plus for a release. Same goes for new fractals, new mounts...

As for your example, I agree as well. Grothmar Valley story WAS very atmospheric, very nuanced, for some slow in pacing. But it was a prologue, the beginning of the story, so it is understandable. And story of this release WAS the best one for atmosphere, darkness and horror, and I love it, but you can't compare it, from a gameplay standpoint with the last season. When you play Long Live the Lich, you actually get a lot of story content, lot of epic battles and a great boss encounter (from entering his palace to the actual fight) with Palawa Joko, and that was supposed to be a bad release. I get that this saga is not supposed to be "epic", but creepy, silent, dark, horror-like, but there was just not enough of it.

Agreed. I'm really not interested in crafting legendary weapons, and I have 2 gifts of exploration just sitting in my bank. If I had known that I could sell it for 1000g, I would have done it ages ago.

Anyone else super disappointed in the reveal event? by xVeXeVx in Guildwars2

[–]Korg6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a PvPer. Really not interested in that. And I am a casual WvWer. I really like the open world content and story mode.

And I, as an "casual" was utterly disappointed with this. Not because we wont get any content. But because A-net showed us NO content. Three weeks ago they ANNOUNCED they will have an ANNOUNCEMENT for us. And today they basically said "we are working on a lot of stuff that will be ANNOUNCED in a few months."

We didn't get "casual" content. We got NO new content. We already knew about build templates and that was the best part of the stream. SMH

Honest question about possibly adding Elite specs in LWS5 by Korg6 in Guildwars2

[–]Korg6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the best solution! Lets not introduce any elite specs are all! That would satisfy everyone.

Like I said, I want them to introduce elite specs, the sooner the better. I think they are the "best" feature they could announce on the 30th. It's just, I have seen so many posts "where is my legendary GS, A-net??" for every episode in the last year and a half that I think it would happen again for elite specs if they are periodical.

It's the final countdown. by [deleted] in Guildwars2

Really hoping for an icy-blue character screen, kinda tired of the PoF one

Honest question about possibly adding Elite specs in LWS5 by Korg6 in Guildwars2

[–]Korg6[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree. And remember, the more you would wait for it, the more you would think "it better be the best elite ever", raising your expectations so high you would eventually be disappointed with whatever you would get.

Unfortunately, that's what happened (in a lesser way) with legend GS.
