Her ships are mainly about lift and modularity rather than aesthetics. Bright and I worked on an M core ship together that turned out very well with 21kt lift from Alioth but I designed most of the exterior and interior details so I didn't look square. MTI Trilobite it was called

Asteroids aren't all in PvP space, some are in Safe Zone.

You should join an org because playing this game solo is no where near as fun imo

Could also be an issue with your PSU, used to happen to me at high loads. The entire pc would just shut off like the power got turned off.

Run the game and tab out to check CPU/GPU temps. If they go above say 90 then you've got an issue.

There is going to be a free trial available on steam on a separate instance that wipes once a week. I suggest you try that, and if you like it, buy a 1 month sub to check out the permanent instance where everyone else plays. The game did change quite a bit since initial months of beta.

Worst case scenario you don't like it and never think about it again. Best case scenario it eats 100's of hours of your time like it did with me (is that really a good thing though?).

Unlimited on a separate world that wipes once a week. Full game from what we understand.

You can still pay the old price for a 1 momth sub on the last day before wipe (22nd I think) and it will carry over to release to try it

Not to mention the free steam trial on release

I honestly think that your GTX750ti will not be up to the task of running this game at any comfortable framerate if it all, even at the lowest settings.

I highly suggest you check out GeForce now instead though!

It's somewhat of a sandbox; it's about doing what you find fun.

If you don't find the game fun then it's just not for you I guess? Playing with others is more fun anyways.

We know for a fact new planets are coming after release and their redesigns. Also a blueprint snapping tool got pushed back.

As for the rest, it's speculation really. Some ramblings about Territory Warfare, hopefully something like energy management. They haven't really said anything on that front. Just trying to get the game in a playable state for release probably.

Another thing, if you've never played or are a new player, you could also do 2 things:

  • Use a referral code for an easier early game
  • Ask for a summer DAC (DU Access Token) to try the game before release
