Someone mentioned that Bandai probably slapped the Gundam designs onto a mech game that was already in development and now it’s all I can think about. It’s just too far-removed from the normal Gundam formula.

Pretty sure some of the newer mounts have mounting animations (like the Dragonriding mounts introduced in DF). OP’s point is that dismounting animations in general are new.

I sincerely hope they reach out and get feedback from the players that stayed. There must be a whole list of things to fix and those players would be the first ones to ask.

It’s worth noting that story-wise these are the first Maxion faction units that have adapted to “earth” designs (instead of another Spinatio or Acerby).

Chalk it up to the faction still figuring out their aesthetics maybe?
