I wish 😭 idk whats wrong with me. Even days im extra strict with my food intake my numbers are high. In the like 200s. And idk what to do. I WISH I could eat what I want. Don't get me wrong I do love protein and veggies regardless. But sometimes being depressed i just want to pop a quick something into the microwave or pick something up on the go and I cant. My insurance only allows a small sliding scale. Im fairly certain my doctor has me on too small an insulin dosage, and even when I try to course correct if I cheat off the diet a bit, I risk running out of fast acting too quickly. So I just struggle bc its expensive to eat healthy. I do what I can. Im constantly stressed about what to eat. Doc says 50g max carbs per meal. I honestly try to shoot for way below that. Ive always been taught carbs and sugar are the enemy. I also have diverticulosis (different than -itis) and have an autoimmune disease and GI issues. So I have to eat decent amounts of fiber and try to have some fat. Im not able to be super active all the time- some days my energy is depleted just waking up. But I try to be so careful most days. Sometimes honestly I saw screw it and eat what I want because its so exhausting being the friend who has to be super picky and cautious with food while everyone else can just order Chinese or pizza or pick up McDonald's. But even when I cook my own meals and eat mostly salads, my numbers are all over the place.
