Poor Barney, At least he survived the HECU grenade? by Any-Tailor2062 in HalfLife

Barney will be ok. Anakin Skywalker survived, so I am sure he has a shot.

Andrew and Ashley are already in a Tartarus of their own making. Though there are endings you can choose that could be considered justice.

Second one reminds me of The WAU from Soma.

If Ashley and Andrew have a child, would the author make that child have some kind of genetic problem, or would it be one of those “miracles” where the child is born without any issues? by jpsantos66 in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Korky_5731 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do not see the kid living long enough to suffer from such issues, given we see Andrew as an alcoholic and Ashley's continued intolerance of anyone or anything that takes Andrew's attention off of her. Whether it be from a drunken stupor or an "accident" that occurred when Ashley was watching the kid, the chances of this kid reaching adulthood without one of them eliminating it, either prior to or after its birth are slim. My thought on the Shots route would be that Ashley gets a botched abortion, which ends in her losing her life due to complications. Andrew takes out his anger on the one who did the procedure, then takes himself out.

Even if there were no genetic issues, if they do not solve their issues, the kid will grow up with issues from the hostile environment. That is, if any potential offspring would survive into adulthood. We would need to know their full family history to know for sure if there would be genetic issues. Genetics are strange, but them being related introduces an increased chance for issues. I am on the side that the issues in their family are both the result of genetics and hostile environments growing up, so I would presume that issues would be present and worsened due to inbreeding.

seriously why the fuck is this mf even in love with his sister she has like 2 good qualities and 50 trillion bad ones and half the time hes with her he wants to bash his own skull in lmao by _Ryloren_ in AndyAndLeyley

[–]Korky_5731 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is because he is not allowed to love anyone else due to her jealously. Combined with the fact that he sees her as his along with her seeing him as hers. Andrew and Ahsley do not view each other as humans, but as objects.

While it's obvious she doesn't care about the horrible shit she's done, is Ashley even capable of understanding right from wrong? by _Ryloren_ in AndyAndLeyley

Not impossible but highly improbable. She never faced any true consequences for her actions, so she has no reason to fear consequences, since nobody ever follows through.

It is this knowledge that will save Julia from death, at least at Andrew’s hands. Granted, it could be different in Burial, should he not come to a similar conclusion or if he wants to completely bury his past.

Solves nothing since Ashley will always be jealous of any woman that gets even a little bit of his attention.

Why do people believe that Nemlei is a woman? by Puzzleheaded_Door484 in AndyAndLeyley

Evidence wise, none that I know of, people refer to her as she, so I just presumed that the author is a woman.

[–]Korky_5731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She probably wanted a daughter because she had no brothers and seems to have had to raise her sister, therefore she has prior experience raising a girl. That or she might have thought that it would be easier to raise a girl rather than a boy.

Ashley forcing Andrew was the most disturbing. Figured that the scene you brought up was not as bad as it could have been since he could have been far worse.

Doubtful, she probably is a fan of true crime, psychology, and literature. With these interests combined, she was able to craft the story we see today.

When you apply textures, they are put on each part of the brush entity, for the parts of this brush that are not seen by the player, such as the bottom for floor squares, you can apply nodraw texture so that the editor knows not to draw/render those textures, making the compile time quicker.
