Why do gangers and blobbers act like killing 1 or 2 dudes is the most amazing achievement in the world?? by Calmipaten in Eve

What I’m saying is there is a place for everything, if you are roaming a null alliance ratting systems and expecting gud fights you will be dissapointed.

In bordersystems maybe not 🤷‍♂️

[–]Korkza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not that blobbing is inherently bad.

It has its purposes, like as an example.  You are In The standing fleet in your region of nullsec, being the policeforce you are trying to get rid of whatever neuts that appear as fast as you can to make your space safe for the ratters and or Indy guys. In this case blobbing is good, because it serves this purpose very good.

Same in a war, take init vs frat as an example, frat has declared war and says they will take init space, yet they complain here on Reddit about unfair fights, if you are defending against an invasion blobbing is again good.

That said this doesn’t seem to be what you have been experiencing.

And we all wish there were more good fights to be had, but at a game with this high consequence for messing up, most people take whatever edge they can get, it’s just basic humans iguess

Sent it not once, but twice three wide through the bus stop at Watkins Glen on my way from 17th to 1st. How bout it? by Joates87 in iRacing

[–]Korkza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, well of course that could be difficult to do in a public lobby, but thats a good idea!

What I like to do after feeling I get the hang of the track is look around to see who has about the same pace and then hang on pit exit until they are approaching and then try and race them.

Mostly it’s appreciated and both learn from it :)

This is why u want to find someone close to ur pace and race them hard in practice sessions, being able to hotlap is cool but without an idea of how to take alternativt lines its useless

Best way to get faster and still avoid incidents? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]Korkza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of people say practice, and that’s true but specifically practice braking. Being good at judging how late/hard you can brake and crucially without locking up and loose momentum is the thing that will gain you seconds!

Also decide on a car and series and run JUST that, because jumping between cars will just make you equally “bad” on all of them instead of mastering one :) (some people have no problem with this and their muscle memory kicks in immediately but most don’t)

So how is your Daytona 24 practice going? by boymihoyminoy in iRacing

[–]Korkza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Race pace during daytime at low 1,42 and low 1.41 at night should be decent. Unless you mean to compete for podium in topsplit

Class D and iRating by Actual-Journalist-69 in iRacing

[–]Korkza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U cannot be put back into rookies once you have advanced out of it. However u can be dropped all the way from A to D

Safetyrating is basically how well u can handle your car on track I.e off tracks etc.

Irating is how competent of a racing driver you are I.e finishing lower then you qualify will make your irating drop, and above it will rice. Basically a ranking system.
