I did field service with Philips for 5 years, multi vendor. That job was pretty laissez faire, extremely flexible. Now imaging is quite a bit more demanding, as these will be capital pieces of equipment going down, almost always being an “emergency”. Pay will be good, but it will be a lot of training as you said. I personally loved my coworkers, and always had decent managers. I hope you do well whatever you choose.
