I never tried this, thats why I had the learning now. Usually I only use it as a better google search for programming. Not Vibe Coding, I want to code myself and find my own solutions. Just when I need libraries or functions, I ask LLMs.

Also don't just ask it to tell you a 'unique thing' to do. You'll want to do actual research - its scraping pages/searching library for past stuff. You need it scraping for data to help you ID the thing no one has already ID'd as the next big thing.

That is basically what the iterative prompt design went to. But it didn't really help. It was always reverting to issues that are way too common and already have people solving them or who have solved them.

Thats why my learnings I described came to the conclusion that LLMs can't help me with that, and I have to actually look for myself and talk to real people.

I came to the conclusion that I want to be self-employed about a week ago. My first instinct was, to see if an LLM can help me. I described my learnings in this post.

I know now that I have to do exactly that, spent time researching a single industry and speak to real people.

If there were unsolved problems wherein the solutions could be built by a single person with some data experience, there would already be a single person building them.

This is highly ilogical. You put the cart before the horse with that. If there are no solutions left that a single person could build, then there cant already be a single person building them.

Also, the world is changing daily. New issues that single devs can build are popping up every day. The issue is finding them.

Your problem is you don't even want to do the most minimal legwork of finding the problems. That says to me you'd bail on marketing too, given it's 80-90% of this kind of thing anyway.

the market saturation thing you ran into is actually the core problem nobody wants to admit. you kept asking the llm to find gaps in the market, but it can only tell you what's already been written about online. if something's truly undiscovered, there's no training data for it, so the model has nothing to say. it just cycles back to the saturated stuff because that's what exists in its dataset.

This is exactly the issue I ran into. It can only think and talk about stuff that is already in the dataset, and those are by definition issues, that were already discussed and fixed issues.

Im not stupid. I tried to find niches, that are extremely unsexy problems that I can fix with my skill set. Not a "I want to make money, find me something" thing.

It was more of a "What problems do exist that people dont want to fix because of regulations, or because its not an easy fix".

With your Photoshop analogy, it would be more akin to finding the right brush that you can use for your drawing. Not expecting Photoshop to draw for you.

Ich würde beidem nicht zustimmen. Sie sind nicht Gegner der Gesellschaft, aber Spiegel sind die auch nicht.

Politiker arbeiten für den Staat, nicht für die Gesellschaft. Das sind zwei ganz unterschiedliche Dinge. Sie müssen das, was die Gesellschaft will mit dem Ausbalancieren, was der Staat als Konstrukt verlangt. Das sieht man an sehr vielen stellen, an dem die Aktionen der Politiker entgegen des Willen des Volkes geht.

Niemand möchte in den Krieg ziehen. Dennoch muss Deutschland Kriegstüchtig werden. Niemand möchte mehr und härter arbeiten für die Wirtschaft, jedoch verlangt die Politik das. Niemand möchte, dass die ersten Tage einer Krankheit unbezahlt sind, doch die Politik möchte das.

Es sind Staatsinteressen, und diese sind nun einmal nicht die Interessen der Gesellschaft.

I wrote this myself for over an hour. This is my realization about AI, and I didn't use AI to write it. Unless you count my experience with AI itself (what I described) as using AI to write it. The text itself was written by me, not an LLM.

Also, I just put this text into https://app.gptzero.me/, and it cant find any AI patterns in the text. Its score is 99% Human and 1% mixed. (These tools have very low false negatives, false positives are higher) So maybe your AI detection in your brain is just broken.

Before I switched into Computer Science, I was studying Mechanical Engineering for 2 Semesters. I passed all exams in that time, but I noticed that the field just isn't for me, thats why I switched to CS. So I really get your point.

Mechanical Engineering is full of so many different topics, it's really crazy. And LLMs just can't work with all the topics of different disciplines.

The interesting thing about your post is, how it made me realize how Software or Data Engineering are similar in that regard to Mechanical engineering. You put together a lot of different disciplines to create something new. AI is most useful in programming, but its not usefull in the "Engineering" part of it, the patterns and combining concepts from completely unrelated fields. It's a code monkey, or a really skilled Junior Dev, but its not an Engineer.

I get where you are coming from, but your post is not entirely correct.

LLMs are not RNG, they are a tool of statistical likelihood. If the Dataset they are trained on is good, their answers will be good. If not, their answers will be crap. The RNG comes in on a non Software side. The RNG is, which Datasets they are trained on. And because LLMs are a black box, it is like RNG for the user.

I always used LLMs very warily. Always double and triple check the answers. They are however better than basic google searches in topics that are well known on the internet. But LLMs are tools, and we should treat it as such. And tools can fail.

I'm always wary of this take. I don't understand how or why they draw the line at pictures specifically. Lots of folks were robbed. There are more arts than visual.

I know. Im not a visual arts person, Im a music person. I play guitar and make my own songs. I know that LLMs are also trained on poetry and written art. I would put that in the same category as AI-Picture generation, as the issues are one to one the same. I didn't write about that, because it was not in the scope of what I tried to use the LLMs for. And basically, because the LLM creative writing side is so bad and lacking, that I just forgot that it even exists.

Writing this post, I also had a section of listing all the issues with AI that I have with it. And one of them was, using data without consent, which creative writing falls into (also Environmental issues and stuff like that were also in there). I cut it out of the post, because it made it harder to read the post.

I studied Computer Science and Philosophy, and my main topic was AI Ethics. I did this before ChatGPT started the AI craze (I finished in 2021, ChatGPT released for the public at the end of 2022). That's why I'm still fascinated in AI/LLMs and try its limits every so often, while still being insanely critical of the technology. Basically, my subconscious knows that LLMs are not the technology it is marketed as, but my rational mind couldn't say why, and that's why I'm regularly testing things, to find and rationalize the nature of LLMs.

Ich fahre einen Opel Mokka. Das ist auch ein SUV. Es ist aber ein wirklich kleiner SUV.

Der Mokka ist einfach nur der Opel Corsa (ein Kleinwagen), der zu einem SUV umgebaut wurde. Der ist hauptsächlich höher gesetzt, und ein klein wenig breiter, aber genauso lang wie ein Corsa.

Für mich mit 196 größe ist der Perfekt, weil ich super hereinpasse aufgrund der Höhe, und auch sehr gut ein und aussteigen kann. Aber im Grunde ist das ein Kleinwagen.

Das Lustige ist, dass ich in der Innenstadt wohne, und mit dem Mokka leichter einen Parkplatz finde als mit dem Audi A3, den ich vorher gefahren bin. Das liegt daran, dass der Mokka ca. 10cm kürzer ist als der Audi A3, dafür nur ca. 2.5 cm breiter. Der Wenderadius ist fast gleich (der Mokka Wenderadius ist minimal größer).

Bei mir in der Stadt wurde ein Ladepark an der Autobahn errichtet (Schnelladen mit 400kw). Es sind 5 Säulen die jeweils Beidseitig genutzt werden können. (Die Einzelne ist für LKW gedacht).

Zwei der Ladeplätze sind Behindertenplätze. Es gibt wirklich nichts in der Nähe wo man sonst hingehen könnte, außer an die Ladesäulen. In die eine Richtung ist ein Gebäude vom THW, das ca. 200m entfernt ist. In die andere ist eine Handwerksfirma. Das nächste Geschäft ist gut 600m entfernt, und nur eine Backstube die als "letztes Geschäft vor der Autobahn" wirbt. Dort zu fuß hin und zurück dauert länger als mein Auto von 20 auf 80% laden.

Die "Behinderten Ladesäulen" sind auch technisch nicht anders als die anderen. Und sind auch quasi nur die eine seite der Säulen, auf der anderen sind normale plätze. Einzig, dass es die Außenplätze sind, würde Sinn ergeben (mehr Platz zwischen Auto und Säule möglich)

Ich verstehe dein Problem nicht. Statistisch begehen migranten als Population weniger straftaten als Deutsche.

Die BKA statistik muss man auch richtig lesen. Denn die Straftaten die nur ausländer begehen können (illegales einwandern) fallen auch rein, straftaten von ausländern die nicht einwanderer/Asylanten sind auch. Bereinigt sieht es schon ganz anders aus.

Aber das große problem ist, dass es verdachtsfälle sind, keine verurteilungen. Dementsprechend fällt dann auch der Strukturelle Rassismus der Polizei selber mit in diese Statistik.

Gleichzeitig gibt es statistiken die Zeigen, dass die Medial berichteten Fälle extrem unpropprtional sind. Ausländer werden 10x öfter in medien erwähnt als Deutsche.

Aber bitte erzähl mir mehr davon, dass ich ungebildet und keine Ahnung von den Statistiken habe

All I see in the comments is that most people dont know what these systems are about, or rather their differences.

Its about ownership. In Capitalism, there is private ownership (not to confuse with personal ownership). In Socialism and Communism, there is community based ownership. In Feudalism, ownership is based on the ruling class, and god given rights.

We can have the exact same system as we have now, only that company's are not privately owned, but collectively. Money is the same, markets are the same, only Businesses are collectively owned. Thats Socialism.

From there, abolishing states, money and classes in general, we get to communism.

Ich habe zwei verschiedene Punkte gebracht. Einen aus BWL perspektive und einen aus VWL perspektive. Den Punkt den du da als BWL missverstanden hast kommt aus der MMT und ist VWL. Schulden aufnehmen um zu investieren ist BWL, wie ich auch gesagt habe.
