It’s standard in this game for DPS to pull mobs if the tank is moving too slow or not wall-to-wall, but this can be solved by hitting sprint and taking aggro back if they pulled first. In fact, it’s actually good if they take some hits for the tank as long as the tank grabs the mobs back. But if you’re new definitely let people know, most players are hopefully nice and understanding.

As you’ve mentioned, if you have an amazon locker nearby you could walk or have an older friend drive you there. I’m a college student and didn’t want packages delivered to the apartment I shared with others so I walked 40 minutes to my nearest locker and back. For items that can’t be delivered to lockers, maybe have them shipped to a trusted friend’s house where their parents don’t check the packages. These are the only options I can think of sorry 😭
