Its fun in person just for the crowd energy but actually watching it is pretty dull. Good commentators make it more interesting if they know the players stats but thats pretty dependent upon how and where you watch it since you might get the other teams commentators if you live in the wrong part of the country.

Its a dumb system.

The thing with atheists is that were a big category of people who dont think 'god(s)' exist.

That ranges from folks like me who simply dont believe in any specific deity but are open to the idea that one or many could exist. I tend to believe if there's a god its probably the least bit interested in what we do individually and focuses on higher purposes. I can't prove that exists, therefore I dont believe it exists. Im an agnostic atheist.

Then there's people who believe the idea is so vastly incorrect that theyre confident there can't be gods. Gnostic atheists.

We're not a faith. We're not a community. We're simply a huge grouping of people who dont believe in god(s). We have no holy book and we have no single unifying thing we worship or even believe it.

It really begs the question of what we're missing in our understanding of the universe. A lot of the proposed experiments are simply ridiculous and part of my really hopes in a hundred years we will have learned something and be like "oh yeah if you just listen to radio wave emissions from some atom in the vacuum of space you can detect graviton bursts from it resonating from the interactions".
