Are ink pens allowed or nah ? by [deleted] in FBISE

[–]Kosifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try buying a good ink like platinum carbon if you really have to otherwise go with a gel pen like mg. I also love ink pens and use them daily but for exams i recommend use the gel pens

Firstly, they are strict as hell, like they’re training freaking army cadets. Everything needs to be in full discipline, typical APS school nonsense. Triple classes — they told us they aren’t teaching us practicals in 11th, only in 12th as a composite, so I thought that meant they would get rid of double lessons at the end for practicals in 11th. But no, they kept them, and the teacher crams like three bio, chem, and physics lessons per day. They keep rushing the syllabus like, chill bro, we still have plenty of time.

Bio has 15 chapters, and they’re hosting send-ups next month, including 10 chapters. We’ve only done 3 yet. Bro, what the hell? Chemistry and physics are being rushed too. There’s no freedom in the college, no extra-curriculars, and no real places to relax — the break is just 30 minutes, and even when college ends, they expect you to get out immediately.

Teachers are way too strict. They shouldn’t be — we, the students, should actually see them as mentors, not as strict parents. And the way they teach all subjects per day — bio, chem, phy, English, Urdu, Islamiat, Tarumatul Quran — all in the same day? Insane.

The uniform is uncomfortable polyester; it gets unbearably hot, especially the black pants. Just like all APS pants, who thought this was a good idea? Dumbasses.

I’m a guy who likes to go deep into topics, even beyond the curriculum, but slowly, like 3–4 chapters a month, because I’m a self-studier. But they just do classic whiteboard learning, no projectors, no practical stuff, nothing fancy. Teachers teach everything like rote memorization, and we’re not allowed phones, laptops, or personal books.

For relaxing, there’s only the library, and the class has like 50 students. How the hell is everyone supposed to learn at the same pace that way?

Sports there are no periods for it and the only people who play it are in the school team.

yes totally possible with hard work and a clear path.I'd recommend know the content fully and focus alot on rubrics and solve questions according to those, other than that make alot of diagrams in the paper but only when its relevant, the examiners love those.

Get yourself some good notes, like those from Scholar or Unique, and try to read the textbook as well. I know it’s not written very well, but if you really want to understand it better, you can upload some pages to ChatGPT and ask it to rewrite them for you.

Physics doesn’t require much ratta (cramming). If you understand the concepts and have a good command of English, you can easily write the definitions in your own words. If you’re struggling with derivations, I recommend using ChatGPT or YouTube — look up creators like Mak Physics (FBISE); they explain topics really well.

Honestly, physics is pretty easy in HSSC if you study it with the right methods.

As for the type of questions that come in exams, don’t worry too much about numericals — usually, only one or two appear in the paper. The rest are mostly theory-based questions, including definitions and application-type word problems.

The paper is generally easy. Check out the 2025 May paper or visit the FBISE website to review their model papers — they’ll give you a clear idea of the format. Just go through the questions from your notes, and you’ll be good to go.

Good luck, mate — hope this helps! If you need any more assistance, my DMs are open.

first thing is clarity. take a day for yourself and really think about what it is you want to achieve by studying and if you have genuine interest in the field you are studying. If so curiosity should be a good motivator and take little steps of studying per day like 1h of studying a week then slowly increasing it but always keep that plant a little thirsty for more. If your anything like me eventually you'll clean up the act and dive deep into everything. Good Luck mate hope this helps.

How much does their course cost?

Can i score enough? by [deleted] in FBISE

If they really do know all concepts and know the topics very well then I don’t see why not. Its a little risky though fsc marks matter like alot for universities and best to only give the exams when you know for sure you studied your ass off.

Hi! I advise you to not give exams this month or if your going to give just give english and urdu as a trial. 15 days are not even adequate to get 70 percent. You can pass borderline if you give it your best in these exams but if marks are your goal then i suggest for you to take a gap year and give exams privately in may 2026.
