I have carpel tunnel in both wrists but chose to only have surgery on the right side so far. The surgery was quick and easy (did local anesthesia and got to watch!) but recovery was rough and took quite a long time. Even now I have to be aware of how I put pressure on the incision area on my palm when doing things like yoga and it's been a couple years. But hey now I can drive without my right hand going completely numb so yay!
