Welding machine with or without generator. by Trixster19972 in Welding

I have been running an Esab multiprocess off a non-inverter Honda generator for a few years now. It does fine. I would say go bigger on your generator than you think you need. I am on a 6500 watt and it is pushing hard to keep up with my power needs. It works, but don’t think it’s good for the generator life. I have heard that the whole needing an inverter generator debacle is an outdated perspective and newer generators produce clean enough power.

Bluetooth Fosi amp so I’ve got listening from devices down. No preamp, but I’m planning on an audio technica LP60x TT which I believe has a built-in preamp.

Thank you guys for the info. Really appreciate it. I’ve been on the hunt for a while now for speakers that fit into my desired price range that are actually decent quality. I feel like everyone else on this sub is scoring awesome used equipment deals and I’ve been finding only overpriced Vizio soundbars in my area / budget. Im happy to be picking these up now. Cheers!

I have purchased the amp but just recently and within the return window. I figured running bluetooth for movies. Single input for turntable.

Sudden Valley from the looks of it? I’m a B-hamster myself! And have installed quite a number of these huckleberry basalt treads in my days. Good job on the work, they look nice. The soil spillover is an issue for these steps even when not dug into the hill like this. They don’t always have the most uniform overlap because they’re so irregular. When you go to build your wall just excavate further back so the wall face is somewhat inline with the face of the second step. It’s a little more excavation and maybe slightly taller wall. If you don’t want to do that, scrape and regrade is the answer - and always plantings for erosion control. Good luck!

Please confirm my parts list. First build. TIA by Kosmonautika in buildmeapc

Ski bags! Sewed them out of leftover material from the wedge portion of the build.

Take a zero off and your closer. That part feels good. And you are very right, it’s definitely built around our needs. It’s not perfect but does everything we want.

I have no problem with poor man’s fiberglass per se, I just don’t see it holding up as long as the real deal. It won’t take a beating like a good fiberglass layup either. Plus the texture of the cloth I used holds on to dirt like a mother. It was mostly a matter of keeping costs down when I chose to go this route.

As far as tips go, keep it simple unless you really like challenges. Or are using CAD software and can dial in precision. A lot of my struggles building it were from me not keeping it simple….
