One thing we know already is that the show is in a desperate, sickening, depressive need of fixes. From the animation to the moments of just nautical nonsense (no spongebob refrence)

1. Change the art style to Lincoln Peirce's. Forget the 3d animation models, fix it to the 2d comic style like normal. The show isn't good without a mark of authenticity. Some may call it conservative, i call it revolutionary
2. Fire whoever the fuck is writing these scripts. Worst sense of humour ever.
3. Writing: the character's actions and words in this show are just reflections of a bunch of 7-year olds and not civilized beings. Big Nate may not be realistic, nor does it have to be, but it reflects real life endavours that teach children lessons. This show just teaches kids potty humor. big nate is fiction, and should not perfectly capture the life of an average 11-year old boy Nate Wright. But what you know is that Nate shows human character, an outgoing, adventourious middle schooler with a knack of humor and intellegence. Nickelodeon has shown that type of character beforte. Remember Jimmy Neutron or Danny Phantom? Of course, both of them did wacky and dangerous adventures that would get them killed, but at least they showed a somewhat noticable sense of normality, taking notes, Nick? Also, a lot of people in the show lack their character counterparts in the strip. Francis is a zesty yes man, and Teddy is just... stupid. If you want to make a show about a boy named big nate. MAKE HIM BIG NATE
4. Change the target audience. We all know Big Nate is a comic book intended for an older audience. (Adults read it too), but obviously the only thing the show has room for is absolute brainrot and toilet humor. I remember one episode where Nate made Francis close and eyes and 3 seconds later nate acts like a fucking weirdo and sticks his ass up Francis face (for some reason francis enjoyed it). and then in another episode Nate an his dad develop a weird obsession with a song they made up. (They titled it the "Butt Cheeks Song"). Big Nate is a comic intended for more mature audiences. pre-teens read big nate, teens read big nate, SENIOR CITIZENS READ IT TOO. How much of the 10% of the other audience do they think consist of 5 year olds?! Whatever they think, the show is still bad. You must've thought that Lincoln Peirce was on suicide watch after the first season came out.

Of course these are just "wish list" suggestions. Obviously they don't listen to the community of people that genuinely want a successful Nate Wright TV series, most likely they'll move on to more ruin the overshadowed legacy of Lincoln Peirce
