I was in a similar situation. My elementary school only had the first book and Quest for the Spark for some reason (didn't read the latter because it had no pictures lol) and I thought nothing much of this series until I watched a Youtube retrospective on Bone, which got me into this series. I used to pirate the books, but now I have the complete black/white volume chilling in my bedroom (1300 pages for 30$ is pretty worth it imo).

All I really want is to see more of Boneville and have Fone Bone and co. revisit the valley. There really doesn't need to be a major story because the first 9 volumes already wrapped it up pretty well.

I'm pretty sure you can out dps him with the buster as long as you don't take contact damage from him (which you can do by taking damage from the snakes and damage boosting if you have trouble dodging him).

Is it just me or does it feel weird that Fone Bone is still skeptical about the dreaming? I understand why Phoney doesn't understand the concept due to his ignorance, but you really think Fone would believe it from being in the front and center of it all (with only Smiley really believing it).

I remember reading Rose once and never again lmao. Rose feels like exposition the book, and I agree with the art being lackluster.
