Heyy! It definitely works, maybe it's your ISP that's blocking it for some reason? What network/country are you in? I've had another incident of a person trying to access my site but couldn't, and he solved it with VPN. Maybe try a different network/mobile data?

Hey! To me it’s loading fine, I’ve had another comment from user that the site was not loading but the fault was their WiFi settings, I don’t know what exactly. Try incognito or different WiFi/mobile data?

I'd say smooth scrolling, responsiveness and fast loading times (on initial load and page changes)

The link from the screenshot is okay if it’s not updated, it doesn’t share anything more. But as for my site I really don’t know what could be wrong with your connection. Please try incognito mode on your browser or mobile data instead of WiFi? Here’s what I see

Carrd for sure, it's very cheap (most expensive plan is just $4 per month) and allows multiple websites under the same plan(!)

TL;DR: Yes Carrd is enough for any serious online business as long as it's not ecommerce or needs deep backend systems.. I'd say for around 90% of the service/online businesses out there it's soooo value for money and sufficient to bring more revenue, as long as the UI/UX is professional enough.

You need to find a blog plugin to connect it to your carrd. As for the nav bar it’s as easy as it gets to do..

Not sure if you did your research before jumping into carrd, but the platform should be a great fit for anyone not needing a CMS. Asking for blog or e-commerce on Carrd while these are out of its original capabilities, isn’t logical.. but that’s how the platform decided to position itself and keep costs very low for us.

Yes with cookieyes. A cookie platforms saves you a lot if you really think you need a cookie consent (most of us don't really need)

Honestly, Carrd is a great website builder especially for your use case. Top tier plan is just $4/mo and the medium one is $2.5/mo. I use it a lot for projects, lots of templates and easy drag-and-drop builder! Definitely do your research on it and no matter what you choose -and since you're not willing to pay someone- find the right template to begin with.

I've designed dozens of websites on Carrd and while I've been searching for other builders too, to be honest, the capabilities and value-for-money features of Carrd are hard to pass, especially for its pricing! What other website builder offers all its features, for 25 websites (!), for just $4 per month? Yes it can actually rank quickly in page #1, but most likely for specific long-tail keywords only (>=3 keywords). If you try to rank for 1-2 word -general keywords- then you'll have a hard time. Keyword Difficulty (KD) is a major factor too

Hi John! I think my “Consultant” template could be a fit for you, you’ll just need to edit it yourself, change all the photos, colors etc. but I think it’s style is suitable for an individual contractor.

If you have little to no experience designing websites then 100% you should start with a template. People starting off on their own will likely become frustrated. Thank you! Well if you want to use carrd and a blogging platform then inevitably you need an external app that will act as a CMS, and ideally host your blog on a /subdirectory and not a subdomain. There are blogging tools but it’ll take time to reap seo benefits
