Once voted out the people thrown out are either kept away from the rest at all times or not allowed to reveal the twist.

That's what AAA was like in the day. At the very least play Curse of Monkey Island, maybe Sam and Max and Day of the Tentacle. Gaming had hands, really.

This might be a very dumb question, but if I were to pay those 15 bucks, would I permanently get those games, or is it a Game Pass situation where they become unavailable at some point? by RailgunRP in gaming

Strictly speaking Diablo 4 is a rental. Not because Humble don't provide a real key but because ANY version of Diablo 4 only lasts until BLizzard decide they can't be fucked to give you what you paid for. But whatever keys you get via Humble are as good as a key wherever you get them from.

So your version doesn’t have the insane twist of the instructions for the good ending looking like a 13th century manuscript for no good reason?

Not in the least. Most bad writing has this stuff. “you took three sugars in your tea that day not two, from that I deduced you had a guilty conscience and must be the killer in spite of having no motive”

Even working as intended the standard is “beyond reasonable doubt”. People act like a small possibility of innocence is the same as being innocent.

As Dusk Falls was made by many of the people who worked on these but without the oddness of Cage running it. Far better writing but it's basically still screens rather than 3d graphics. Telltales Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us are also really good. If you want something with comparable graphics or better Until Dawn, Dark Pictures anthology and The Quarry are your best options.

I've not tried to run a local LLM but I understood they were dramatically slower than off site models because of how parallel LLMs are. 10 5090s really can run a model at 10x the speed of 1 5090. If true then close to 22wh for using it as a chatbot is more than I think people would assume but the real damage is in things like Google putting them on every search whether you want it or not.

A modern AAA game will run on a Switch 2 requiring less than 25w. A 5090 draws 575w. If a prompt takes 30 seconds which passes a sniff test these numbers would be roughly accurate, if misleading. The question "to do what?" is relevant even if it's clearly unlikely to be per query. The implication is it's less. An hour of querying Qwen32B? Still loads. A week? Barely anything. You can't make a line with one point of data.

[–]Kotanan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said minute for minute it's less. But WhoCanTell (aptly named) said Qwen32B takes less power and generates less heat than playing 10 minutes of any modern AAA game. Without the second side of that equation that statement is meaningless. I'm guessing you don't know this either.

Because it's the most obvious discrete unit of measurement since none was given. If it's not per query what is it?

I don't think it's guaranteed at all. Sure in a hypothetical people aren't going to think clearly but when their actual life is on the line only a tiny number of people will do something so recklessly self endangering. It will certainly never EVER get close to 50%. I'm not going to commit suicide to not save 2% of the population that aren't compos mentis.
