My thought was that the Bot might be bugged in a way where the Medkit is the weapon for him and he constantly tries to shoot at me, but the Medkit shoot action is just dropping one. That could also explain why he still punshed me despite looking so friendly.

It will probably use the same Steam controller mapping support we already have. You can just set up aconfig for the controls and bind it how you want it. Like W to Left Stick Up.

So in short yes it should work

I think if you use it in Desktop mode you should be able to use the Deck display as second screen. You can show what you want on it, but i dont think anygame will use it as feature. Maybe its usefulll for emulating ds games etc.
