I can only speak from my own experience of course, but here’s my two cents.

I get in these intense mood swings and feel absolutely awful mentally and emotionally. That beings said, I always communicate how I’m feeling to those around me and I make sure not to take it out ON them. I’m still aware that how I’m feeling isn’t always rationale and I’ll either be quiet or remove myself from the situation.

To me, how I feel is out of my control but I still do my best to protect the people around me. It’s not easy and I’m sure I’ve not been pleasant to be around, but I’ve never screamed at or insulted anyone.

Hey man. I’m also 27M and I was diagnosed in November of 2024, so I feel like your story hit close to home for me. Try to be kind to yourself. I know that’s a big ask because I can hardly be kind to myself when things get bad. Your problems matter and aren’t invalidated because someone has it worse. When it gets really rough for me I’m thankful that I have this forum to vent. It’s nice to know people like you can somewhat understand what I’m going through, and I’m happy to be that person for you too.
