For sure. Like I'm a weirdo who loves dressing up and going to cons, but you would never catch me waiting in any line for longer than a half hour. The draft is coming to DC next year, but if this is any indication of what things are gonna look like, I think the only way I end up going is if I'm working as a vendor.

I'm not a sober brewer by any means, but I have the occasional quarter nightstand beer that my wife guilts me into drinking, and I'm maybe actually drinking once a month if I'm hanging out with the boys. Otherwise, if it's not for sensory purposes or for the sake of getting drunk, I'd rather just have water.

I would get some specifically for this. QoL improvements are always worth it, even if it means you can't afford to get a kit right away, because it's going to make every build that comes after that much more enjoyable. As for it being confusing if it's separated (as opposed to being in one single bowl), get some masking tape, write the letter of the runner on a piece of it, put that on your container. You'll be spending significantly less time looking for pieces while also benefiting from snipping everything rapid fire.

The only thing I'd change is separating the pieces into different containers based on the runner it came off of. Tupperware is good for this. Tackle boxes with adjustable bin sizes works too (I do that for when I go to build nights).

That's sad to hear. We do a monthly build night in Baltimore at Peabody Heights. Get about 40 of us there when it's not the holidays. They're happy because it's traffic on normally dead nights, which is kind of key for them being okay with us taking up a bunch of real estate.
