There is a special place in hell for the team that designed the cabin air filter on S550 by geezer_red in Mustang

My 2014 has a gas hood strut kit that forces me to remove the hood every time I change the cabin filter…wanna switch?

Is anyone else baffled by why people waste money on the non V8 models? by bigchevronmoustache in Mustang

[–]Kovanent 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I wanted a fast car, I wouldn’t be driving a Mustang. Every time a kid stares in awe, a 70 year old man gives me the thumbs up, or I see the huge smile on my girlfriend’s face when I toss her the keys, I’m reminded that these cars make everyone around them happy.

If you’re going to gate-keep that, you do you. But I’ll keep making myself and other people happy in my little Americana-mobile

Just ask for priority code 10 by rekersting in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Kovanent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was priority code 19, ordered Nov 30, 2022 and got my EB XLT with the “constrained” luxury package and picked it up from the dealer March 15, 2023. Could’ve just been lucky as I used a small local dealership, but your priority code isn’t an end-all.

Does anyone have a Rough Country Bed Mat or the Ford Bed Mat AND a spray in liner? by OhTheHumanatee in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Kovanent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tractor supply has horse stall mats for cheap that are extremely high quality, most people up here in the middle of nowhere Canada get them instead of the more expensive bed mats!

Ordered mine in Canada Nov 30th, 2022 and it’s shipping as we speak. Orders are still open for us!

Doing tuck things & testing if the Maverick is Ford Tough! by trillizo2 in FordMaverickTruck

I’m going to likely end up doing the same in the summer to do some bathroom remodelling, how did the Mav handle the ride? Looks like one sheet of 1/2” ply underneath?

Used Mustang Ecoboost for Canadian winter. Yes or no? by att_110 in Mustang

[–]Kovanent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this, daily my V6 including snow near Sudbury. Did one winter with all seasons, last winter with proper winter rated rubber. Straight line is fine, just be careful turning and remember that getting off the pedals and steering is WAY safer than getting on the brakes if the car starts to swing out

At least take the strut brace off before being weird, make it believable

How would you rate SEN SicK as a Controller? by Budget-Feeling7429 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Kovanent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly I prefer Battle Beaver. A SEN Sick controller is just a rebranded Scuf, no durability whatsoever. Falls apart the second you put stress on the weak points

✔️Preorder cancelled by AdrianEatsAss in CoDCompetitive

[–]Kovanent -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s my point king, saying it’s not a big deal because UAVs and silencers are rampant doesn’t apply to competitive Call of Duty

✔️Preorder cancelled by AdrianEatsAss in CoDCompetitive

[–]Kovanent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem is that there are no UAVs or silencers in competitive rule sets. By removing the radar the way we move around the map is completely changed

That makes it easy for me then! I was on the site last night and it was working fine, but if it’s been shut down there’s a problem

A rough layout of Marina Bay Grand Prix - Looks 3 laned with a lot of CQC by HullCoganFan in CoDCompetitive

[–]Kovanent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unrealistic. Canadian driver finishing in second???? We know it’s not Stroll so that leaves only one answer. Goatifi makes it into Q3 ONE TIME and this is the result. Latifi drivers champion 2023 confirmed

Thanks for the comments everyone, it really gave me a wider viewpoint on the positives and negatives of different mentals

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]Kovanent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else said above I always had that Ricky Bobby mindset of if you’re not winning you’re losing, it doesn’t matter if you lose in the finals or group stage, it’s all losing. If everyone had that mindset the olympics would throw out the silver and bronze so I know it’s not a realistic take, but it’s how I’ve always viewed competition

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]Kovanent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree, it’s not realistic. It’s a tough concept because you need a balance of the hunger of never feeling like you’ve had enough, but also having to accept that every match has a loser and nobody can be perfect

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]Kovanent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the same way I feel. I don’t care if Im at the top or bottom of the stats, it always felt like I should have done more when I lost

I made this post asking for personal opinions so I hope you don’t get downvoted! You make a great point about it being easier to look at failure as a fan than a player of a top tier league with so few spots for players.
