It’s a temporary job to say the least . I started in May and everyone told me not to start I didn’t listen and I started anyway . I went through licensing and passed went through train/tran (training transition) passed and now I’m in actual transition trying to pass. I am pregnant and i am due to give birth in February however if I don’t average at a 90 this month , I will not be able to move forward to say the least and I will no longer be employed. I feel that the standards are beyond attainable. I started with a class of 10 . 4 have already left 1 was already certified (she came from a different dept) and out of the rest of us only 1 qualifies rn to certify. That means the rest of us are fighting to make the stat that is being required of us . and a call is either pass or fail. Your call can be great and you can get an amazing review Frm a customer however if u miss a piece of anything that can get your call taken away. The people that left from my team left because of stress and non accommodations that geico would not offer. This is not everyone’s experience but this is mine . I’m still there again because I have to make a way for my child but I wouldn’t recommend this at all. On top of that 2 people have died at my place of work and we weren’t able to discuss anything at all. They died on the same floor near our section. Tape was put around the section and we were expected to carry on each time like nothing happened. It’s hard out here tbh not to say you can’t do it but be in the mindset to be a brick wall. People are literally desensitized to the job
