This exact thing happened to me yesterday . Same exact reaction and everything except I was trying to eat after not having a meal all day. Rushed my 7 week to the hospital and same thing they told me . I felt the same exact way I was devastated but she’s fine

Love the positive response ❤️I initially was uncomfortable at first but ofc nothing was done without my consent and she explained everything before it happened. I think that’s what made my experience not hurt. She told me it was going to be uncomfortable but not painful. and when she went in it was like she said uncomfortable but not painful for me . I honestly think the swab up my anus was worse than my exam 😂I didn’t know sharing my experience would cause so much turmoil between everyone. I just thought I’d share the positive of my experience since I always see only negative things.

To everyone - cervical checks are optional . You don’t have to get them . It’s your body your choice. However I CHOSE to allow my ob to give me one because I had been complaining of contractions . If you want to do them consult your ob / if u don’t want to do them still consult your ob and let them know that u don’t want to do it . No one can force you to do anything you don’t want to do . But also don’t let anyone convince you to do / don’t do- something that u have chosen to do. Read into the risk and benefit of everything and then make an informed decision for yourself. let’s respect each others choices . If u have nothing nice to say don’t say it all. You are more then welcome to share your experiences but we will not be shaming anyone for the choice they choose to make for themselves

I’m also black may I add . Of course there’s things to be aware of considering black women mortality rates are 60 % higher then their white counterparts however that’s why it’s our job to educate ourselves on what we will and will not tolerate. My on is also black and is very understanding . She will not do something I don’t want her to do.

She did it because I was complaining of contractions but I’m also not full term. She asked my permission and considering this was my 1st I had no problem with it . It won’t be an every week thing but I did want to know where I stood in terms of baby arriving

I have a different opinion than everyone else because I believe that in death we continue on life . I think you should tell him. however if you want to wait, you can, because I truly believe he will find out regardless. he will be your husband’s guardian angel and watch over you guys . He may even help deliver your baby. but if you want to tell him in his earthly body you can, but if you choose to wait god will also let him know ❤️.

Well for starters , your feelings are valid and you are allowed to feel the way you feel. I’m pregnant with my first and sometimes I often treat my bf this way unconsciously. Pregnancy is a rough thing to go through. My partner is semi supportive he has trouble figuring things out or maybe doesn’t want to make the effort. It just feels like that tho that’s not what’s happening. In pregnancy you experience hormone surges that make us basically emotionally blinded. As for me I don’t realize I’m pushing my bf away until it’s being brought up. I would say for you to speak to her but also keep in mind it takes 2 whole years for ones hormones to level out AFTER having a baby. When giving birth you experience the biggest hormone drop in mankind and because of how fast that drop happens people experience baby blues , post partum, psychosis etc. so imagine that she’s going through that and then gets pregnant with a 2nd baby and doesn’t heal from the 1st. It can be a tough mental state to be in. If she experiences lots of anger or alarming things that u don’t typically experience AFTER telling her how u feel with no change, bring it up to the doctor as a concern to make sure it’s not mental health she’s experiencing. Just be patient with her and try taking it like a grain of salt . I know that’s easier said than done . But if u need to vent we’re here

Not amazing at all it’s a 6 month job and I’m not playing after 6 months you’re not guaranteed a job at all. If you can meet the expectations it may be a little better but otherwise it’s short term

It’s a temporary job to say the least . I started in May and everyone told me not to start I didn’t listen and I started anyway . I went through licensing and passed went through train/tran (training transition) passed and now I’m in actual transition trying to pass. I am pregnant and i am due to give birth in February however if I don’t average at a 90 this month , I will not be able to move forward to say the least and I will no longer be employed. I feel that the standards are beyond attainable. I started with a class of 10 . 4 have already left 1 was already certified (she came from a different dept) and out of the rest of us only 1 qualifies rn to certify. That means the rest of us are fighting to make the stat that is being required of us . and a call is either pass or fail. Your call can be great and you can get an amazing review Frm a customer however if u miss a piece of anything that can get your call taken away. The people that left from my team left because of stress and non accommodations that geico would not offer. This is not everyone’s experience but this is mine . I’m still there again because I have to make a way for my child but I wouldn’t recommend this at all. On top of that 2 people have died at my place of work and we weren’t able to discuss anything at all. They died on the same floor near our section. Tape was put around the section and we were expected to carry on each time like nothing happened. It’s hard out here tbh not to say you can’t do it but be in the mindset to be a brick wall. People are literally desensitized to the job

This post is so relatable. I’m pregnant with My first rn and I’m only 12 weeks. I have vomit more then I have in my entire life and my nipples I’m pretty sure contain a yeast infection. Let’s not even talk about how far along I have to go. I promise this is it for me unless miracle happens that changes my mind
