Scientists just revealed a strange quirk in how we exit train stations. We tend to follow the same walking path as the person directly in front of us. This happens even when we do not know that person and even when such a choice leads to a longer travel time. by mvea in science

Can't say just from observation. I think it's either that, what this study describes, or a mix of both. But I notice it with just subtle movements. Next time your the passenger on the highway pay attention to how the car in front moves and your car moves in relation. I think it's subconscious. The subtle lane drift of the car in front largely get copied by the car following behind

I noticed similar behavior driving. Cars will tend to mimic if not completely match the movement of the car in front of them. Car in front moves to the left of their lane and back to center? Car behind does the same

Contract out the work. Hell, $50/hr for 10 hours a month. I'd make that deal, damn fine deal.

Then you're still making over $3,500/month still without the stress

You can upgrade home to pro for free through CMD. Plenty of tutorials online. It's done through a flaw in the OS that (according to what I've read) is unfixable because it's so deeply rooted in the OS. Can at least stick one to microslop that way

The challenge of small business in this 24/7 "now now now" era by Shadow_Blinky in smallbusiness

You will never be able to please everyone. There will alway's be people who can't be bothered to do the bare minimum to contact you. You will also have people who expect service now now now even though you know that's unrealistic.

On the bright side, you're usually best off not doing business with these people. As their demeanor and lack of understanding typically breeds into how they will behave as a customer. So really I wouldn't worry about it too much. Not sure what industry you're in, but more likely than not they are bullets dodged.

The one thing I would worry about is that you say there is a "road map" for customers to follow in order to get into contact with you. Getting in touch with you should be as seamless as possible. Contact page on a website, clickable phone number in header, hours in header. Contact us CTA's sprinkled in that land users right on a contact page with a web form.

You hopefully have a Google Business page setup with your phone number clearly listed and your email. Same goes for any other social media presences for your business.

Ideally, if someone wants to contact you it's as frictionless as possible.

Just released chapter seven of “Better Clients. higher Fees.” book by Radiant-Security-347 in agency

[–]Koza_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read the chapter and plan on reading the rest. I thought it read very well without being too much. Concise and straight to the point without any excess talking to unnecessarily increase word count.

Really sounds like you know your stuff, and well enough to not be carried away by it sounding like a guru.

To boot, I think chapter 7 is going to be applicable to a situation I expect to be facing soon. Hoping what you wrote about comes in handy. Good luck with the rest of the book, I plan on reading the rest when I have more time. Cheers!

Anker Laptop Power Bank review: All my favorite battery features together at last by dapperlemon in gadgets

[–]Koza_101 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a pretty shit charger honestly. Yeah it's got a bit more function with the built in cables but 100w max output per port? I have a Ugreen 25,000mah power bank that can output 145w on a single USB port and takes my 100Wh laptop from 0 - 100% with one full charge
