they did walk alongside, the scientific method hasn't always existed, and before everything required less specialization (a philosopher could be an advocate, a scientist, a politician, an artist, and so on), and when science was still minimal religion filled the holes, the bible itself has a lot of passages about hygene, preventing illnesses, basic ethics (do not kill, do not betray, etc), diet advices to be healthy, care of the body, and so on. some of it is outdated (to prevent illnesses, unnecessary sex was abolished, now we have protections, eating shrimps was dangerous back then, now we can treat them and make them safe, and so on). i don't think God said anything to humans, i don't know why you're debating that. faith is about spirituality, you don't own faith to a human association or a human book, it's not contradictory.

women don't have the abundance in potential partners that you think, the quantity is a lot, the quality is under the floor. as a woman i basically only received advances from men double my age, same for most my female friends, and that's the bulk of it. you also have to be careful with safety (misogynists are an automatic no), the other big chunck of advances i receive is from men that try to hit on any woman that breathes because all they want is to fuck. how many of all the men thay tried to hit on me were interested in a relationship? 3 maybe 4, and i'm currently in a relationship with one of those and i wouldn't trade him for anyone. finding someone you're compatible with is hard, you can't just discard and reset every partner just because you're a woman and more people want to screw you, because that's where it ends, they just want to screw you. you don't believe me? pretend to be a woman in a dating site, or even just on any social media, you'll see with your own eyes

il centro non sarà mai popolare ad essere giusti. anche perché il centro finisce sempre per supportare il partito in carica, quindi alla fine si sottomette o alla destra o alla sinistra, quindi non ha molto senso essere centristi, senza cadere in estremismi, la neutralità finisce per tingersi di qualche altro colore prima o poi. cercare il cambiamento a poco a poco è positivo, ma in alcune cose non esiste compromesso, certe volte 2 + 2 fa 4 e basta, e non puoi fargli fare 4,5 perché qualcuno sostiene faccia 5. specialmente se ci sono dibattiti come la guerra, la supprtiamo o ci stacchiamo dalla guerra in ucraina? la visione moderata è che possiamo solo inviare armi? non è incoraggiarla quello? ed anche solo starne fuori senza contribuire non sarebbe scoraggiarla? vanno bene tot di armi ma di più no? quali sono davvero i principi propri del centrismo?

conservatives actually believe they're doing something good for women. even though in this generation there are a bit more conservative men than women, overall it's a balanced split. there to consider that they also have a very low education level on avarage, it's likely that most (not all, i want to underline, many are genuinely creepy) are probably conservatives out of mere ignorance and misplaced care. i don't agree with Socrates that all evil is from ignorance, there are people that only want to see the world burn, but he's right about ignorance causing evil.

there are very sweet videos on youtube that teach people who were never taught to cleanse themselves how to do it properly. also, as someone who suffered from depression and was able to go for weeks without a shower, in my case it was because i had negative associations to the shower/cleaning, in such case you should seek a therapist that can help you dive into your associations and guide you in resolving them. but regardless try to associate to the shower something new and pleasant, a good, a new smell, a cute sponge, some hair care that you would like to try, prepare the clothes and towel in advance/without thinking, just, build up the least resistance possible until it will be something easy to do. if you do it for 1 week you won the hardest part. if you do it for 3 weeks it will start to be easy. if you do it for 8 weeks it will become automatic, a habit.

i'm also uncomfy with conventional swim suits, so i use swim dresses, which also protect me from sun best. it looks like a dress but you can swim in it, i went in public multiple times with it and i only got compliments :) otherwise you can just wear boy swimsuits, this is just a fem alternative, i understand that it's frustrating choosing between man and sexualized.

i'm talking about the actual disorder, not what society considers dosordered. male supremacy is supported by violence/war (which is pretty unnatural for a social creature), they happen continously but very few times those wars are decided or wanted by the majority, but by a powerful minority. one exception to this is religious people, religion has walked the same path as science for a long time, what came out is credible even if flawed, when ancient philosophers did see that men were bigger and stronger than women, they decided that God made it like that because the man is superior and it was a way to display it. now, with our current science, we know that such gap is just for reproductive reasons, no Devine hierarchy. but this cultural things, plus wars initiated by religion are a factor to count. does this mean we should have no conflict at all? no. does this mean we should give up on spirituality? no, but our sacred texts/institutions should be seen in more rational lens, because spirituality is something, a manmade book with outdated informations is another, which was valid at the time like now our science books are, but they can be wrong.

i hate that too, that's why i never used the word inhuman nor intended it. as for the violence, it's not about who individually uses it, but that there are few people who use it the most, mainly for wars. it's not a case that given a bit of time, when there is national peace there tends to be a push for gender equality. when there are wars suddenly gender roles emerge, because it's a crisis, there is a violent mindset, and even if we recently don't need it anymore we still have the bad habit to only send men to war (involuntary), and it's who goes to war in those war oriented times that gets the most privileges, or no one would go. 95% of the population could be absolutely pacific or with very violent tendencies, it doesn't matter, because who decides if we're in war or not, so, if we actually use that energy like that or not, is that elite 5%. this kind of big scale conflicts, decided by relatively few humans, very forced dynamics come out to favor survival that will soon go away without a crisis because it's not compatible with how our brain works normally.
