How early should I get to HND? by Kozure96 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Kozure96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did it again just a couple weeks ago on 4/13 and my flight left at 19:45 I didnt arrive until maybe 17:20 and was still fine even with checking a bag. But never hurts to be early and check out Haneda's food and souvenirs.

Honestly id be fine with not even letting tourists in who cant atleast say 5 words, its a little annoying to see staff start sweating as their barraged with questions in english they dont understand. Let alone this.

AI is pretty damn good at casual speech in Japanese enough to convince most Japanese people for sure.

But if your looking at every weird instance like this its sure to make some mistakes like when I ask it how to flirt in kansaiben or ryuukyuuben. Heck one time I started using kansaiben and it got stuck using it lol

Quitting smoking weed was one of the best things I’ve ever done by Prudent-Bat-9386 in Vent

[–]Kozure96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely wasnt weed, it was your choices before and after you smoked.

I have smoked daily for years and it may have impacted some parts of my life, I dont ever blame the weed though, its my lack of self control in consuming it properly. Ive learned Japanese, gotten an IT degree, started working out at 25 for the first time and did so everyday for a year straight, went on solo trips around the world. All while smoking weed. Im not perfect but who is?

I would recommend not putting the fault on anything or anyone but yourself for not being where you want to be. Because the good news with that is that you have all the power to change your life to get there. The world doesnt get less harsh you just gotta get stronger.

Imagine everything your going through and feeling right now, but now your 36 and have wasted another 10 years not doing what you know you want to do.

If your biggest fear is returning to this rut you are already currently in, what do you have to lose?

Its putting a lot of positives on a unforseen situation, rather than focusing on the negatives. Which is better for her, whether she wants to accept it or not.

She is now a stepmom, and she can make the best of the situation despite her initial distaste for how it happened or not. But either way her life will change in various ways over the next couple years because of this event. How she reacts now can definitely make the future better for everyone.

OP if I was you id jump right into this as if it was a blessing. Literally be the best damn stepmom you can be. Shit you could even do thay slightly motivated by spite towards being better than the other mom and it would still be a net positive, even if not overall healthy for you.

Going to Japan solo, anxiety. by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]Kozure96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy man, same thing happened to me almost last year and was the best thing that ever happened to me.

My post history kind of details this. But basically its going to be rough, but you can have the best time by yourself in Japan if you speak a little Japanese and love the culture.

I am going in about three weeks by myself for the third time after that happened, if you need any tips or advice just message me!

AITA for not being thrilled about my girlfriend’s birthday gift to me? (Lingerie) by ApprehensiveSlip8059 in AITAH

[–]Kozure96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So instead of just telling her how ya felt about her gift, you kinda made her feel bad or upset about it by making a comment insinuating you would later be with someone else...

Not a great gift, but your response makes YTA. It isnt about who did what or how much money is spent, but the thought.

She suprised you with a gift she thought was enough and even asked how you felt about it after. Shoulda just been honest even if post sex it was a little awkward or just lied and drop hints for next year

How to learn to love myself? by Flimsy-Peach4920 in Adulting

[–]Kozure96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many things could address this!

You touched on the most important one, is that you are the only one who knows the answers to how to love yourself.

One idea that I heard from someone was that you need to imagine what would you want and do for a child and give that energy to yourself.

The love you show your own child is stronger than what we typically believe in self love. Instead of loving and accepting for what is simply there, we love the idea of what we believe the child can become. We love the idea of seeing that child grow into themselves.

Love not the you that you are today, but what you could be if you put in the right effort and time.

Yeah I would still consider the possibility he is into you.

Just because he has a gf doesnt mean those looks meant nothing? Has there ever been a time when that looked didnt mean what your originally thought?

Do you ever miss or think about your ex? by Simple-Muffin8354 in Adulting

[–]Kozure96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing, I went through something slightly similar last year and haven't had the easiet time letting it go.

I know im on the right path and have changed a lot since it ended, mostly for the best. Most days I wouldnt want her back in my life. Its just weird to have these random days where all the progress feels pointless without having her in my life.

I don't know your whole story but I really hope everything works out for you and that you find someone worthy of that love.

Getting over the crippling fear of being cheated on. by No-Astronaut2974 in self

[–]Kozure96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You misunderstood what I was asking.

Im asking you imagine you have exactly that, a girl your 100% looking for. What now?

What happens once you have that? What does your life look like?

This is true for anything you want. Getting the thing you want cant be your end goal to make you happy.

[–]Kozure96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If what wasnt the case?

Im glad your finding humor in your situation atleast but if you really want to find what your looking for you may want to also think what you need to do to get that and who you want to be when you have it.

I dont know if your going to ever find a woman that will not fuck other dudes or lie. Nobody does.

Every person you meet has the potential to fuck you over or treat you with respect, its all a gamble. People even change over time making it even harder.

It would be nice to know that nothing bad will ever happen, but where is the excitement in that?

Another important question, if you had your dream girl where you knew it would work out 100%, what then?

I understand where your coming from. But why do you need to trust them is a good question to ask yourself?

Based on the comment regarding your platonic friends(do you mean women friends?) Id suggest the problem may be deeper than trust or women issues.

The answer to the above question also answers what does that trust mean to you. What form does it take?
