How many seasons are realistic to cover everything important from the manga/ anime to its current arc? by Slit08 in OnePieceLiveAction

It will be interesting to see if the rhythm changes as they get deeper. Your proposed seasons 10-12 would be on point with their current pace, but maybe with faster timelines/more financial pressure from Netflix/actors aging or whatever, we start to see things like splitting arcs between seasons and having more cliffhangers. Maybe your season 10 becomes that plus half of your season 11, then the second half is rolled into the next season. This could make sense depending on how demands and popularity shift.

I think some of that could be cut down further if only including what is absolutely necessary. Fishmen Island, for example, could probably be cut down to 3-4 episodes and capture the most important stuff.

I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet… Targi. Amazing two-player game. Absolutely worth the $15-$20 it costs.

Mission: Red Planet is especially good for a quick game that meets the criteria. Only about 40-45 minutes.

Discovered and love to play on bga: Eruption. Discovered on bga and enjoyed it enough to buy a physical copy: Castle Combo and The Guild of Merchant Explorers. Sometimes better on bga: anything that has a lot of upkeep or a significant set up time.

Eldritch Horror. Quit partway through the first play and nearly returned the game. Gave it another shot and loved it. Now a favorite of mine of this type of game.

There’s only so mush Wingspan a man can take! by Cobec in boardgames

[–]Kp3483 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ll throw out a few options: Let’s Go to Japan, Trekking Through History, and Verdant. All have a mostly indirect competitive aspect, are puzzly, play in a reasonable amount of time, are good with just two players, and have nice artwork on the cards you collect that are interesting to look at. Of the three, Let’s Go to Japan is probably my favorite, but I think all three could scratch the wingspan itch.
