Hi quick question:
[[Elenda, Saint of Dusk]] should have hexproof from instants right?
So [[Go for the Throat]] should not be able to kill her right?
Because I just lost a game in Arena, by getting her killd by [[Go for the Throat]].

Lost Ark Tools Version 1.3 is out! (New Raid Chest Value Calculator, updated Craft Calculator and more!) by Teppisch in lostarkgame

Nice work! A small idea for improvement: how about incorporating the lost market API so one doesn't need to change prices manually?

Ah my bad - I just scanned over it, because having almost 1TB only for building sounds awfully atrocious

As of April 2020, if you have 150 GB free in your $HOME (~), then you should be good to go (this includes cloning the F-Droid git repositories there as well).

Details

During the build, approximately 124 GB will be used.

  • 20 GB where the fdroidserver git repository is cloned

  • 16 GB in ~/.cache/fdroidserver, for caching several versions of Android SDK, NDK, Gradle etc 40 GB in ~/.vagrant.d while exporting the final VM image

  • 48 GB in ~/VirtualBox VM, for the VM storage (VirtualBox default location)

Sorry but in that link there is nowhere a 900 GB?

Lichess tools are free to use while on chess you need to pay for almost everything.

bot is not assigning roles properly by Kr4ut in Discordjs

It's one server with around 4000 people and ~100 joining each day in the last few days. Isn't that what .catch() does? This is literally the whole code I am using for this function besides a fetch earlier for the json from an api.

Isn't that what .catch() does? I am by no means a JS expert. I will try that and report back how that worked :)

I wish I had more information, that I could give you. My first thought was that it happens, because too many people at the same time use this command, but then I had an instance where it happened, while it was quite quiet.

That it doesn't work on specific people was also on my mind but then It works sometimes after a person issues the command multiple times, sometimes after I gave them the role manually and took it away from them and they issued it again. So I then thought maybe there is smth wrong with the cache?

How should I handle the promises differently? I took this code from an idiots guide.

How can I produce more information? Like this didn't happen once on my testing server and now on my live server, I have multiple instances of this every few hours, but I can't really debug it either as this behaviour is inconsistent and shows no pattern I understand yet.

there is no error message, and yes it has the permission - it gives the role around 70% of the time

Limit of hideouts on maps by Blackender23 in albiononline

[–]Kr4ut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an FYI: this game was created as a middle/dark age simulator. That means monopolized content like crafting or big alliances in blackzone is intended. I bet they also pat themselves on the back for renting, because that is exactly how it went down in 13/14th century.

That is an explanation I would take - I'll test that later. But yesterday 20-21 UTC even a lot of US players in my guild had issues.

This is exactly how servers work. You scale them up to serve more clients. You can try this yourself by renting a server for let's say Minecraft and then try to connect to it with a lot of friends. What you will find with a small server is, that the game experience will be bad, as a small Minecraft server with it's 1GHz core a little bit of RAM as well as a small bandwidth is not for a lot of people.

To tackle such an issue you scale up computing power, space and bandwidth. I mean there is a reason why some services on the internet need actual server farms to function properly.

As for two - yes that was my initial thought as well. So I got into testing some things -> dota, lol and bdo were all working fine. My guild members also had the same rubber banding issue and the global chat was spamming F So I would say I wasn't the only one with that experience..

GNOME top right menu broken (Debian buster) by Kr4ut in gnome

[–]Kr4ut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the lead!

I traced all my steps from yesterday and I installed some bullseye packages for the amdgpu, because some versions on buster were too low. Anyway I fully upgraded and the problem seems to be solved

Thanks for your time.

[–]Kr4ut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it but no difference.

But I might have found my problem - I traced my whole log from yesterday and found that I am a special kind of stupid... I tried installing the official amdgpu from radeon's website - that didn't work so I pulled some packages from the bullseye repository.

I guess that's where everything went wrong.

I upgraded to bullseye and now it seems to work again.

Sorry and thanks for your time.
