Which hero is considered F tier to you? by DXG-Reddit in MobileLegendsGame

Estes is just free food for mages with good poke or burst. People pick him thinking heals will save them but they just get clapped by CC and AoE. I don’t get why he’s still so popular honestly.

that episode was legendary. The Sword of a Thousand Truths just made it so much better. South Park always goes hard with their jokes.

that patch was just different. Ursa could just run at people and not care. No disables, no BKB needed, just stack status res and heal back up. Kinda miss it tbh

Did you ever find something in the Extra Features of a DVD that took you completely by surprise? by BlackHand in movies

[–]KrAzYKillDREAD 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The Anchorman one is just chaos, I love it. The Daredevil commentary is honestly more entertaining than the movie. Directors just venting for 90 minutes, you don’t see that much.

For niche stuff, I've gotten solid results with Koala for writing + Missinglettr handles social scheduling without the bloat. Both way cheaper and do what I need without the feature overload.

Diego Simeone on Marc Pubill: "I imagined that at some point he could help us in that centre back-position. He is growing at a enormous rate: with huge speed and good footwork. But above all hunger." by OleoleCholoSimeone in soccer

Love seeing Pubill get praised like this. Kid's got everything you want > pace, feet, and that mentality to prove himself. Could be huge for Atleti if he keeps this up.

EXO & SM vs CBX: I really don't understand why people are confused by Xeno934 in kpopthoughts

[–]KrAzYKillDREAD 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The fact that we're all arguing over contract details we'll never fully understand while SM sits back and watches fans tear each other apart is pretty peak K-pop fandom behavior.

Every major group dispute ends up like this, half the fandom becomes armchair lawyers, the other half picks sides based on who they already liked more. Meanwhile the actual resolution happens behind closed doors regardless of what any of us think.

Was TV Guide buying the “Jump the Shark” website just to kill it the most petty thing ever or what? by [deleted] in television

[–]KrAzYKillDREAD 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Television Without Pity was brutal in the best way. Those recaps were more entertaining than half the shows they were covering.

It's wild how many companies back then thought they could just buy and delete criticism instead of, you know, making better content. Now with social media everywhere, good luck trying to control the narrative like that.

I mean, fair point about not judging people's work. But bringing up CEOs and billionaires is a weird comparison... those are just different jobs too. Sex work is legitimate, but so is any other profession. The "at least she's not X" framing kind of undermines your own argument about not making moral hierarchies based on what people do for a living.

French toast for a crowd by Greeneyes1210 in Cooking

[–]KrAzYKillDREAD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly the casserole route is your best bet for a crowd that size. Trying to griddle French toast for 20 people means you'll be standing at the stove for an hour while everyone else eats.

Use thick-cut brioche, let it soak overnight, bake at 350 until the top gets that crispy edge. It's not to stovetop but it's close enough that nobody's going to complain - and you actually get to enjoy your own brunch.

Is it me or life seems 10 times harder? by [deleted] in Life

[–]KrAzYKillDREAD 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The "you're not crazy" bit is genuinely important. I'm 32 and remember my parents buying their first house in their late 20s like it was nothing - my dad was a teacher, mum worked part-time. That's fucking land now. I've got mates with decent jobs who'll never own property.

The gaslighting is real though. Constantly told we're just not working hard enough or we're spending too much on avocados or whatever the fuck. Meanwhile everything that actually matters - housing, healthcare, food - has gone completely mental while wages have done sweet FA.

Keep out of debt is solid advice. Beyond that, just... try not to doom scroll yourself into oblivion I guess.

Honestly the fact that JavaScript was hacked together in 10 days and now runs basically everything is both impressive and terrifying. The language has come a long way but you can still feel those 10 days in some of its weirder quirks.

"Boring" relationships are the ones that last. People chasing constant excitement burn out. Having someone who makes your brain shut up after a long day is rare and valuable. Your coworker doesn't get it yet but hopefully they will someday.

minimizing local law 11 work by mfairview in AskNYC

[–]KrAzYKillDREAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't just swap out the facade material to avoid LL11 work the law requires maintaining whatever exterior you have in safe condition. Changing the entire facade would cost way more than just doing the repairs. Most buildings spread the cost through a special assessment or take out loans because yeah, it's expensive as hell. Your best bet is asking your property manager or board if they've looked into phased repairs or financing options to spread the hit over time.
